Chews 4 Paws

We have been bringing our dog here for over a year. Kristal was always the one to groom him. She worked with getting him used to regular appointments. All of a sudden today I get a text after booking an appointment online last week that no one there would take him. I was informed that Kristal no longer works there and that my dog was too behaviorally unsafe. I was provided Kristal’s phone number and contacted her. She stated that no one wanted to take the time to work with him that she used to. They waited until the 11th hour to tell me they wouldn’t take him, and would rather lose regular business than show my dog some kindness and patience. Sad.

Second visit here and we are very happy. Tgey took good care of our pup and did a great job grooming her.

I hit the jackpot finding this gem and its only minutes away from my home. Miss Amy is fantastic. I take my fur kid there for nails and glands. I also take my grandpug for his nail grind every two weeks because his nails are so long. No appt necessary for either but I like to call to make sure she can do it between her grooming. Miss Amy is a retired vet tech and I can feel her wonderful energy with dogs straightaway. Pls support your local small business.

We were referred to Chews for Paws by our neighbors. We are so grateful for that! Chews for Paws and Justin are amazing. He did everything that we requested, the price was very fair and our pup was so beautiful when we picked her up. We are so happy with this groomer. We highly recommend them!

After being a customer for over a year I was informed that my dogs were a liability to this company because of bad behavior. When I asked how bad it was they told me they were difficult when getting their noses shaved and had a hard time blow drying their heads. After a YEAR. Seems a little strange to me. My girls are high energy but when we first took them in the groomers assured us they were used to that. I don’t know what changed but hopefully nobody else has to experience this. I’m just disappointed because this is a place my girls were getting comfortable going to.

My boys first time getting groomed and they did a great job with him! Nails beautifully trimmed, smells great and looks great! Staff is very friendly, and they gave him a tie and a sample of treats. Overall wonderful experience!

1st time taking my labradoodle there. All the staff there were extremely friendly and ensured she was comfortable. They had a bunch of organic, non-preservative and rawhide-free treats, which we bought to try out. Amy was super nice and was an ex-vet. After the grooming she took the time to go over how our doodle did and things to look for after grooming (ex. Excessive scratching, headshaking, etc). I would definitely be taking my doodle back and recommending them to others.
