Woof Gang Bakery and Grooming Wakefield

Been taking our small dog for grooming over 6 yrs to this location. Missed one appt accidentally and they charged me their late fee "per policy". No consideration given to a long term customer. Never missed an appointment before. I hope they enjoy the $37.50. It's the last $ they will get from me and my family.

We have taken our dog here a few times for a groom and loveeee the staff! They are all very sweet and have treated our dog Kai really well. He’s always happy when I pick him up and the prices are reasonable. (Please tip when you get a groom, they deserve it)

For years I've shopped here for their selection of Fromm pet food. There is nothing better. It's guaranteed fresh here, I buy the largest pink bag. It takes one scoop to fill my 70 lb German mix. Thanks WG, I'll be back when we need a refill.

Absolutely the WORST customer service imaginable. I read some negative reviews in the past that I was willing to overlook until I experienced firsthand. According to their policy it stated that they needed 24 hours to modify an appointment. Ok great noted. But when I rescheduled within 24 hours they said they were still going to charge my card for the fee. I could understand if 1) it was not within the window or had happened before (which it has not). For the staff to then decide it needed to be 2 days notice is the problem. No wonder they can’t keep employees on staff, they never have the same ones whenever we go, They always quit. Not to mention our dog hates this place as well. Avoid if possible. Can’t recommend. Update :Not only do I show up for my scheduled appointment but they REFUSED to see my dog when I rearranged my schedule to make the apt that they were "charging" me for. Absolutely do NOT go see this girl! she is the worst with grooming and cut my dog last time my dog had her! The owner is negligent and refusing any acknowledgment of the is situation. ** The response states my "disrespectful behavior" was why I was refused service this morning when I have a video of the groomer saying I was being refused service for this "negative review". Clearly the owners need new management that actually embodies what Woofgang Bakery is about**

I do not appreciate how I was spoken to by Amanda. She was rude when we got there (first time meeting, this was our puppy’s first groom there). She was also rude upon pick up. I decided to show some photos of what I wanted for my puppy’s groom. She said the face was something that was more of an adult cut. I didn’t really mind , and asked her to focus more on the body and other picture ( a much simpler cut). She decided to circle back on the face and continue to complain about it. She talked to down to me as if I had no idea what I was talking about. I dropped off a bag of treats to make my puppy’s experience better. Upon pickup, the bag was not even opened. They said they didn’t need to use any, but then proceeded to complain about how my puppy did. Saying she was nippy and didn’t like having her legs messed with so they had to hand scissor (that cost me $15 - but they "didn’t need" to use the treats…?). Her ears were much too fluffy and I worried about matting. They said they could re - do them but I am not passing my puppy back after she’s already in my arms (this is the same thing the manager offered). I also believe she got cut on the head while she was there (manager denied). Apparently Amanda is new, I don’t know about anyone else there but I certainly don’t recommend her. Her attitude was awful!

WE LOVE WOOF GANG BAKERY AND GROOMING WAKEFIELD! Auggie, our Great Pyrenees has been getting groomed here since we moved to Raleigh this past summer and I have never had a better groomers. The groomers here always do an amazing job with our baby boy and he comes out of there looking like a champion. Special thanks to Mariah who made our polar bear look extra gorgeous for this holiday season!

I recently took my pupper to Woof Gang for a bath and toenails trim. Because she is a non-grooming type they have a great service called Tubby Time. It lets her have a bath and all necessary cleaning like ears, glands and nail trim. These gals are very friendly and efficient. They told me when to being her and how long it would be. Biggest reason for going besides the referral was NO KENNELS. I picked her up and she was wearing a super cute bandana and very happy. She smelled great and..she needs a medicated shampoo for skin issues (Bulldog thing). She got a treat for the ride home and I can tell you they did the best job with her toenails! Dremeled fantastically and that is no easy task. She is strong and hates it. They sent me this cute picture and I made my appointment for her next visit. Louise was her groomer and she listened to me and took excellent care of my girl! Absolutely a great place AND...they have some of the cutest merchandise in the store! I may be in trouble there 🙂
