Jan's Pet Grooming

Smokey is definitely a regular here. I used to live very close by so he'd go every 4 weeks for a nail trim. We moved to Oakland County and I took him for a haircut somewhere else and poor Smokey looked ridiculous because the groomer did half a haircut on him and left him half shaved. I brough Smokey back to Mitch and vowed never to take Smokey anywhere else. I definitely feel like it is worth the drive. I've never been disappointed. Love you guys!!!!

Very Rudy and nasty people. They need to work on their customer service and how they talk to people. They complain about my dog being matted under her collar, but she has long hair and we do the best we can, as far as in brushing her. Instead of trying to find a resolution and cut her short they only resort to cutting her completely bald. At other groomers I’ve never had this complaint or problem. My dog never wants to go inside this place and I always have to force her in if she’s on a leash. Again, never had that problem at other groomers. Glad to be leaving this place. Very bad vibes.

Mitch ALWAYS goes above & beyond for my baby. He is so knowledgeable about all things grooming & even breed specific info. I hate leaving my precious baby anywhere, but it makes it a little bit easier knowing they love her & make her feel as comfortable as possible. I’m so thankful for everyone at Jan’s!

Absolutely amazing! My kitty got into who knows what, but I brought her in. Shes never been to a groomers and usually hates men and anything new. When Mitch pulled her out of the carrier and smelled her neck to see what it was she got into, and I saw she let him, I knew she was in good hands. I was expecting him to bring her out of the back with her wiggling and squirming but she was calm and he stuck her straight into the cat carrier, (usually it’s a 10 min job for me to even get her in it). But that shows a lot about the groomer. She looks so clean and neat. 100% coming back, I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

If I could put down 10 stars I would. This place is the best and Candy the owner is awesome. I have taken my dog other places and no place has come even close to the type of work they do here. I have a bearded collie who is a show dog and it is really hard to find someone that understands what that means and that the hair CANNOT be cut or the dog will be disqualified. Thank you Candy for doing such great work.

They were great! Walk in nail trim. I booked a grooming appointment. Can't wait!
