PetSmart Grooming

PetSmart’s groomer is in the back of the store and they’ve got a large grooming salon, capable of dealing with several dogs at a time. They’re pretty good, but if you just need a dog washed, I would take them to a self-serve wash where it will be cheaper.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at PetSmart grooming services. I paid $90 and the quality of care my dog received was unacceptable. They clipped her whiskers, which should never be done, and it was clear the clippers were not properly cleaned. Shortly after the visit, my dog developed a bacterial infection. On top of that, they got water in her ears during the bath, which led to an ear infection. The grooming itself was also poorly done—uneven clipping. The overall cleanliness of the space was also concerning. There was dog hair all over the floor, which made the environment look unhygienic and poorly maintained. To make matters worse, I had to take my dog to the emergency vet and ended up spending $400 due to these issues. Overall, it felt rushed and careless. I would not recommend this location. Save your money and take your pet somewhere that prioritizes proper hygiene and care.

I called to schedule a nail trimming for my pup and they said that it wasn't necessary and that 2-6pm is usually slower. So I loaded her up, we got there around 4pm. I put the leash on, we walked inside and went straight to the back. It wasn't busy at all, the salon door is on the right at the back. We checked in, sat for a few minutes and then someone came to get her and brought her back 10-15 minutes later. We went to the register up front and they checked us out, mission complete. They did a great job, were quick and very professional and kind to my pup! I will definitely be going back!
