Scrubbers Self-Serve Dog Wash & Professional Grooming - Royal Oak

I have had bad luck finding a good groomer for my doodle in the downtown area. Tried scrubbers for the first time today and was SO happy with how Meli groomed my dog. She looks so cute and fluffy, Meli did an amazing job! This will definitely be my go to spot! Thank you!!

I took my very recent rescue dog here today. I was a patron for many years with my senior dog who loved visiting. Jake my rescue was a little overwhelmed and reflecting back I should have given him another week to adjust. The staff was great and got him up for the nail trim and then into the tub as I got my coat off and apron on. They noticed some dry skin in his coat and recommended the oatmeal shampoo. Three days later his coat is shiney and mostly flake free.

Crystal is wonderful with our 2 dogs, a basset and a doodle. She grooms each of them and their different coats perfectly and always has great tips and tricks for at home. She is timely and dependable! Absolutely 5 stars!

Didn't take good photos right away. Though this has been the best haircut! Nothing fancy was requested, but detailed trim around the tail, paws, and nails was quite impressive and unique. It was regular cut but never saw this level of detail and practical style in common troublesome areas. Will definitely be a repeated customer!

The best grooming experience. Found a Malinois/GSD on the side of Livernois/Route 10, brought her to Scrubberz the next morning for a bath at the Self Service grooming stations, while trying to find the owner or a rescue that could take her. The staff was not only helpful, welcoming, and enthusiastic, but more importantly, trimmed this dog's nails with such speed and efficiency that I didn't even realize they were finished. We will absolutely be back here with our own 3 dogs, if only for the convenience of not having to deal with all the wet hair in my own bathtub.

Maggie is so pretty and clean! Grace did a super job for our very "reactive" GSD. This was our second time here, and we'll always come back.

10/10 We’ve only had pleasant interactions with everyone at the Scrubbers in RO. But, more than anything, we’ve LOVED the quality of work, thorough cleaning, compassionate care, and kindness that our groomer, Arianna, has happily provided! Even our first appointment with her, she was calm, inquired about exactly what we wanted, was knowledgeable, experienced, loving, and more! Our sweet Bernedoodle gets *very* nervous, but we let Arianna know, and she’s been SO patient, supportive, and reassuring to our four-legged family member. That’s hard to find coupled with high quality of service, clean facilities, and a reliable/well-run business. Arianna eagerly asks for feedback after each grooming and if we want anything different. She’s asking to ensure her clients get what they want and have the best experience possible. You can tell it’s genuine because she receives feedback well, isn’t ever defensive or rude, makes notes for the future, and follows through with adjustments next grooming. A+
