A Cut Above Pet Salon

No better place in the valley than A Cut Above. We absolutely love Andy. She has been grooming my dogs since they were puppies (even before she was working here). Now my siblings all take their pups to her. My boys come back looking and smelling great. They take great care of them and everyone there is always so friendly. I haven't even mentioned the pricing. Their pricing is so reasonable! They go by size and then length of cut you'd like (clippers vs hand cut) which is straight forward and much appreciated especially when you have multiple pups. No surprise charges and if anything comes up during the grooming, they are always sure to call or text. Just an all around great place. Very inclusive. LGBTQ+ friendly which we always love to see here and want to support. Keep up the great work!

Absolutely the worst groomers!!They don’t give the cut asked for, seems they just do whatever they want or whatever they can. wanted a "teddy bear" cut and ended up with one bald dog and a very short cut on the other, not what I asked for and had shown them pics of what I wanted. Both my dogs are very well kept, no matting etc.. The last couple times I visited they have been struggling and have given them multiple times to correct the issues but to no avail. I will not be back nor would I recommend. Extremely dissatisfied !!!!! I asked to speak with the owner or management but they declined, seems they do not care or are afraid to deal with their lack of quality groomers nor want to keep a customer. I asked for a refund and was told they couldn’t do that, so I spent almost $300. To end up with a completely bald dog and another with an uneven extremely short cut. With the amount of disclaimers on the entry door it should have been a red flag to begin with. Again. I do not recommend this place, find another groomer and save yourself the trouble.

We have been coming here for more than a year and have gotten decent service. But quality has gone down our last two cuts. They completely butchered my Australia Shepard under coat and left jagged cuts in her coat. Not sure if they hired a new person or what but very disappointed.

The owner is very sweet to my 13 year old grumpy cat. She calls him a "very confident" cat" and took very good care of his grooming needs. Definitely recommend!

They did such a great job with my chihuahua and my manx! This is the second time I’ve brought them in and the salon had my exact info and grooming requests on file. They are super communicative and friendly, and fairly priced. I will be back!

Kailee did a wonderful groom on Elvis. She did a awsome job his Mohawk and dye . Great caring staff and fair price, excellent turnaround time. Definitely will be coming back in the future.

As you can see, my dog went into the appointment pretty scraggly, but Becca did a great job working with it. The cut itself was very even, and I was glad I opted to have teeth and nails done as well. My dog was in good spirits after her appointment, which informs me that she had a good experience, as well. Will go back, and will recommend!
