PetSmart Grooming

DO NOT! DO NOT! Do not take your pet if he/she is a happy animal. I took my daughter’s dog to get nails done and he returned completely depressed and scared. Something was done to our dog. He now is deeply sad under the kitchen chairs or under the bed. He even vomited around the house. We are so disappointed because he didn’t even get a thing done. So if your pet is happy, let him/her be happy by not taking him/her to any of these PetSmart places. So unprofessional. I gave a one star because there is not a choice of a zero star.

I’ve taken my dog 4 times over the last month around 8am for a nail grind. They keep saying to come back later or there’s only one person who can cut nails. Mind you, nail trimming is a walk in service and this last time I went there were two ladies just talking away who said I’d have to come back later because they were "busy"….not a dog in sight being worked on. Usually IF it’s busy, they’ll have me wait 15-20 minutes. I even called to ask after the second time of being turned away if I could schedule an appointment since they seem to never have time and the lady said they don’t make appointments for walk in services. Nothing makes sense at this grooming location and they seem to do as they please. There’s no way they never have time for a walk in nail grind and they also won’t schedule an appointment for one if they’re so "busy" as they claim to be.

The last review given to this place was 7 months ago (1 star), but I decided to give them a chance anyway. BIG MISTAKE! Right off the bat, Brianna the groomer assigned to my dog, with her charming personality, didn't address me, look at me or even say good morning. Nothing. She grabs a form, looks at the computer, then starts her rehearsed line of: if we deem your dog a problem, then we, at our discretion, will only trim around her eyes, her feet and her perineal area (not in those exact words, but along those lines). This was prior to assessing my dog. She had a "I'm miserable and I don't want to be here" attitude. Ignoring her obvious lack of rapport and personality, I handed her my 5 month old toy schnauzer and said thank you. Her lack of professionalism again flourished by walking off without acknowledging my thanks. After Brianna left, the other groomer was polite enough to explain the approximate time my dog will be finished, and how soon they would give me a call prior to completion. The other groomer also apologized for her sunny disposition. I have a feeling I'll be getting an early call from her saying she couldn't groom my dog because of aggression. Stay tuned.

I cannot even begin to express my disappointment and frustration with this so-called 'pet store.' Let me just start by saying, if you care about your fur-babies appearance and well-being, DO NOT bring them here for grooming. It's obvious that this store overbooks and overworks their groomers. It was clear that the groomer did not have enough time to properly groom my dog. Not only did he come out looking like a hot mess, but he also came out extremely stressed. It breaks my heart to think about what kind of treatment he must have endured during his grooming session. I trusted this store with my fur baby, and they completely let me down. I thought I was paying for professional and quality grooming services, but what I received was far from it. It is clear that this store prioritizes profit over the well-being of the animals in their care. I would not recommend it to anyone who truly cares about their pet.

Ariana C is greats. Always greets my dogs by name. I’m not consistent with bringing my dogs to the groomers so they tend to have longer nails but Ariana is able to get them to a good length.

Went for a walk in nail trim. Closed, even though the hours say 7am-9pm.. it’s 5:37pm 🤷‍♀️

If I could give 0 stars I would. The place is completely unprofessional. The "groomers" aren't trained well and the manager was no help. Everything has to go through corporate. There's nothing they can do by location.
