"I've tried a few professional groomers, but honestly? One of Fudge's best haircuts was done by a student at San Diego Grooming Academy. I never met her personally, but the students here really give their all. The front desk staff are wonderful, the prices are incredible for what you get, and the owner is lovely — he came out personally to inspect Fudge and offer suggestions. Highly recommend!"

Superb quality grooming and attentiveness to our dogs. They actually know your dog and their personality. We take 5 massive dogs here and they’ve always handled them with care and the dogs are relaxed. The exposure to being handled all over, groomed has been tremendous. We drive across San Diego County to come here. We’ve paid quite a bit more at other places with subpar results. So happy to be a part of this school.

Whoever groomed, my dog, it was the best room I’ve ever had on any animal I’ve ever owned. We are here. It’s even making me think about going to school and becoming a groomer myself if they can teach you to groom like a pro right out of school with a plus. Lori Lola mom

I have a beautiful doddle puppy she looked like a mop! No mats just lots of long curls. I took her here and they shaved all of her curls away. She was there for over 6 hours. I want to cry. I said I didn't want them to do much just show me her eyes. So Angry.

SDGA always does a really nice job and their pricing is fair. I really appreciated their staff and their service for my black golden doodle! She’s also in the VIP bath club which has been an excellent choice. Thank you SDGA!

Doggos always come out looking great. The staff was also helpful in alerting me when my dog was having symptoms of a bladder infection which was undetected until then, and I was able to have it treated before surgery was needed. Thanks again!

My two Tibetan Terriers go every week for baths and the occasional grooming. Love Mike and all the crew. It's a teaching academy but they do great work. We've been going here for years!
