Spawtlight Dog Salon & Spa

It was my puppy’s first time getting groomed and they did an amazing job. I was able to get a same-day appointment right before I had to leave out of town which helped out a lot. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much for all you do!

Great groomer!! She always takes care of my pup and actually listens to what I want and follows through! Previous groomers I’ve been to don’t cut my dog the way I request and pay for so it’s been frustrating trying to find a groomer that doesn’t do whatever they want with my dog. This was the first place I tried since moving to San Diego and they’ve been great and take care of my 15 year old PomChi with care! Never had any issues with cuts or razor burns or anything of that nature.

The new owners are really kind and a great addition to the community. The store seems cleaner and better run with them in charge, it used to be an out of state owner, so local animal lovers taking over has made the grooming and the store front a fantastic local spot for Little Italy and San Diego as a whole!

I just moved to the area and found Spawtlight through a google search of my local area. I’m so particular about where I bring my pup and they did a phenomenal job. I haven’t stopped recommending them to friends with dogs. When I pick him up he feels so fresh and plush, they listened perfectly to my request not to cut him too short which I was afraid of, having a Pom. Couldn’t be happier, it’s most definitely our new spot.

Lindsay… such a great experience. First time I’ve ever left my service dog at a salon and felt comfortable. As a matter of fact, I always bathe her first myself as I’ve had bad experiences with my former service dog CHLOE …RIP As a matter of fact, I’ve always refused to do so. When I picked up Story, she was gloriously 😃 HAPPY excited to see me beautifully, bathed, and groomed, exactly as I wanted her to look. They are so quick & do a nice job. Reasonably priced. Most importantly they are very empathetic and attentive to my pups special means to ensure his safety.

Spawtlight was amazing! My dog has been to multiple spots in East Village, but we never found a perfect match for him. The second we arrived the groomer comforted Buster and made me feel confident in their skills. When I arrived to pick him up he was relaxing in the shop and looked great! They were so friendly, reasonably priced for all services and even threw in a free toy as a Christmas present. We’ll definitely be back!
