Dog-Gone Gorgeous

We have been taking Gigi our Shih Tzu here for 5 years and everyone at Dog Gone Gorgeous has been amazing. Gigi gets excited when we ask her if she is going to get her haircut and runs to the door. They take such special care of her and do an amazing job. We are leaving the area and hope we find somewhere as good. We know Gigi will miss them.

Yuli has been my baby, Jamie's, groomer for a couple of years now, and I wouldn't take him anywhere else, ever! He is a little Morkie, and can be a big baby, and quite difficult at times. She does a great job, taking care of him with extreme tenderness, kindness and professionalism. Also, she is very accommodating of my schedule, and understanding when I have to reschedule.

Dog-Gone Gorgeous is the only place we will take our Parson Russell Terrier, Houdini!! Yuli and Tina are the best!

We had our two golden retrievers groomed here for the first time (our regular groomer isn’t available) and they did a great job. Our pups do not enjoy getting groomed but the ladies assured us if they’re too uncomfortable they would give us a call. We chose to pay for the express service with the base package grooming, which took almost two hours. They have crates for them to wait in, which actually seemed to calm our dogs down a little. Generally we prefer our dogs are the only dogs in the room at the time of their appointment, but the ladies here seem like they paid close attention to our concerns, did not miss any spots / rush our dogs, and the dogs were as comfortable as they could be for something they don’t enjoy. Our dogs feel, smell & look great - thank you! The only thing we weren’t aware of was that they only accept cash, so be prepared for that.

Took our dog into 9am appt. Didn’t hear for multiple hours so called at noon to get a time estimate and they replied " oh he will be ready when he’s ready". Still no call and on website said they closed at 4pm so got there at 3:50pm and he was just on table then to get done. Had to wait outside for 45 min but the lady was completely rude and heard her being frustrated and said well if they want their dog they can take him. After, my dog had multiple cuts and had to take him to the vet to get on antibiotics. I don’t think they gave him water all day as he was so thirsty & couldn’t get enough water when he got home. I would highly suggest going elsewhere. Horrible service all around.

Did not like this place at all. I’ve taken my golden doodle there a few times and I understand it can be time consuming but it would take 7 hours!! I would drop her off around 8 am and was told it would be 3 hours and I went to get her and was told "she will be done around 3" and I look at my dog and she was in the crate soaked! I went back at 3:30 and was told again she wasn’t ready! I had to go to work at 4 pm and I just can’t understand how it takes 7 hours! So, she wasn’t able to go potty or eat within that time. And the staff is always rude and look miserable to be there. And they seem to change the prices as well. Please don’t take your furr babies there!!!

I took my dog to Dog gone gorgeous. We normally go somewhere else, but our regular groomer wasn’t open yet, and my kid was getting matted, so I was desperate. I will NEVER take my dog there again! She was there for over 4 hours, and came home seriously traumatized. She would not leave my bed, and cried if you tried to touch her in certain areas. Not to mention the girls working seemed tired and not happy to be there. One girl was visibly frustrated w the dog she was working on, and I could hear her. The place was dirty and had too many dogs for just two groomers. No way in HELL were they following the sanitation guidelines for opening back up. I should of walked out when I saw the wall of crates. I feel awful writing negatively toward a local business, but that place should not be open.
