Pet Cute

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with my recent experience. My golden retriever has a unique and distinctive mohawk on her head, it's part of her identity, and something we absolutely love about her. Every single time we've brought her in, we have made it very clear: do not touch or cut that hair under any circumstances. Today, they asked if I wanted "the usual," and I confirmed, yes, the usual: trim the paws and remove knots. They did those things, but they also cut off her mohawk. The one thing we have repeatedly and explicitly asked them never to do. I know it might sound like a small thing to some people, but when a client gives a specific, clearly communicated instruction every visit, following it should be non-negotiable. That's the bare minimum of professionalism in this business. When I called to express my frustration, they did acknowledge the mistake, but that was it. No refund, no discount, no gesture of any kind to show they genuinely understood the impact. A simple "sorry" without any real effort to make things right doesn't feel like accountability, it feels like indifference. It may grow back, or it may not. Either way, the trust is broken. If a grooming shop can't respect a simple, clearly stated request, how can you trust them with your pet? I would not recommend this place to anyone who has specific grooming instructions for their dog.

Absolutely wonderful experience. I usually use the van service, and today was my first time visiting the shop in Saugus. Everyone there was extremely courteous, and my dog came home happy, clean, and perfectly groomed. She smells great! It's clear they genuinely care about animals, and they followed all of my requests. Excellent grooming services. I was very impressed how they made my dog feel so welcome, and I was at ease leaving him! The results were outstanding. My baby (Charlie - mini goldendoodle) came home looking and feeling fantastic, and I have received many compliments on his new look. It's a relief to find a groomer I can trust to provide such high-quality compassionate care. Charlie gets very excited when we pull in the parking lot of Pet Cute. He can't wait to get inside! As long as Charlie is happy, I'm happy! Top-notch groomer!

Not a lot of groomers will take my cat because he’s a tad spicy and doesn’t like to get his nails trimmed like most cats. Pet Cute takes care of him always with a smile and in the most humane way. I will not go to anyone else.

Gabriel and team are the best -- they have been doing my two dogs for a couple years now, and they never disappoint. They are gentle and supportive to my 15-year old dog, that has advanced dementia and serious health issues, and my 5-year old dog that has a unique wiry coat and grooming needs. Cannot recommend them enough! Truly value their care and compassion with my dogs.

I took my 4 month old puppy there for her first grooming, so obviously we were nervous. As soon as we handed her over, we knew she was in great hands. I wouldn’t want anyone else to groom her now. It is very clean in there. Everyone I’ve spoken to was so sweet! You immediately can feel that they love animals and what they do. I would 100% recommend them to everyone looking for a groomer!

I have been taking Milo to Pet Cute since he came to me in January 2025, and they took care of my Sparky up until I lost him last September. I can not be more pleased with the staff and the services they provide. The salon is ALWAYS clean and they do not use crates to keep the dogs in, which is super important to me, and Milo is always ready in 2-2 1/2 hours. They are open extended hours and on weekends (including Sundays!) I would recommend them confidently to anyone looking for a new groomer for their pup!
