PetSmart Grooming

Kaiden and the manager were amazing today! We bought a tank from the store 2 years ago and it started leaking. Bought a new stand and tank today, everyone was really knowledgeable and helpful. They informed us about the discounts on the app and showed me how to attach them to optimize my purchase. THEY SAVED US SO MUCH MONEY! Never been treated poorly by this location, definitely have earned our business even though we have a location way closer to us 🙂

I have a well socialized cat. He's a 7y marshmallow. However, he does not like being restrained or squeezed. PetSmart staff was leaning one arm across his entire body and smashing him into the grooming table. It's unforgivable rough! For a nail trim. Then they tried to put an anti-bite color on him and he freaked out. He fluffed out like a Halloween cat, mocked off the collar, and did a double flip.

I brought my Golden Retriever, Leo, in for a very basic grooming service — just a bath, drying, and brushing. I specifically did not request a haircut. One of the groomers suggested lightly trimming the fur around his paws, and I agreed, assuming it would be minimal and done professionally. Unfortunately, after we got home, I noticed very uneven and patchy cutting on one of his legs. The fur appears partially shaved and irregular, which was absolutely not present before the visit. This is very disappointing, especially considering the breed and the fact that Golden Retrievers should not be shaved or unevenly cut. I trusted the groomer’s professional judgment, but the result looks careless and unprofessional. I hope PetSmart takes feedback like this seriously, as pet owners expect transparency, skill, and respect for a dog’s coat — especially when no haircut was requested.

Went there to do a haircut for my cat and they seems to be a complete amateurs there as they couldn’t do a proper cut. My pet looks like he was surviving a poachers trying to take his wool. Definitely do not recommend! We were trying to get a lion cut and this is what we got. Absolute trash for 100$ and we have to redo it at a different place.

I love that PetSmart has walk-in service, especially for nail trimming/grinding, or "pawdicures", because it's such an "as needed" event vs. one I can plan. Micayla is a wonderful groomer for my Australian Shepherd. He loves her and she knows the many cuts/styles they have, which depend the coloring & size/build of the dog as well as your preference. She knows what works on mine and he always looks fantastic after a visit with her! Her recommendations are right on the nose every time! She also checks in every 8 weeks to see if he needs a touch-up. This is great because I often forget to schedule it and they book up fast!

They always do a great job with Ollie and address any grooming concerns I have prior to starting their service.

This place always does a fantastic job with my Australian Pyrenees. He's got rear double dew claws that always grow out and curl around his toes super fast and by the time we get him back there, sometimes they look like they're beyond a 20-year-old's ability to trim back, but we usually get the same gal, Heather, and she's amazing at both trimming/grinding his nails, and bathing/ brushing out his double coat! He's a 2 hour job pup at minimum and totally doesn't look it. Prices are comparable, as well, and it always makes you feel a little bit special when they remember you next time you go in. 🙂
