Grooming At Grayhawk

Called asking about availability for my puppy to get her first groom. Was able to be accommodated even though they were booked heavily. When I walked in morning of appointment I was instantly greeted and so was my dog. They were very attentive to my dog while I filled out paper work including playing with her and feeding her a cookie treat! The reviews you see are for good reason and I have already booked my next appointment! 10/10 would recommend.

A horrible grooming experience! I brought my bichon puppy in for his first grooming with the owner, Angie. She seemed very kind and experienced with grooming. When I picked him up, I was surprised to see that she cut uneven layers all over his coat and he had hair sticking up in every direction. When I got home and attempted to brush him, I realized how bad it was. I showed him to my vet and various friends and family -- as well as another groomer -- and they all agreed it was a very bad haircut. The groomer said it looked like she was busy with other dogs and quickly used scissors on him without any care. I left a message for Angie to call me to address the issue and she ignored my call. I am now bringing my pup to another groomer to try to fix her damage. This was my pup's first official haircut and it was a disaster -- I feel sick about it.

Jen and the Grooming at Grayhawk team are amazing every time! My boy Doobie loves his visits here and the newest member of our family had her first trip here today and just came out looking so perfect. They are so awesome here and I highly recommend for anybody looking for good quality grooming with a caring staff who put so much attention into making your fur babies clean and beautiful!

Angie has been our groomer for 20+ years for several of our poodle mixes. She’s friendly, professional, and does a wonderful job. They always are able to accommodate our schedule and my dog seems happy whenever we pick her up.

We have been going here for three years and love Jen and the way they take care of our dog.

Someone named Jennifer called me for our dog’s grooming appointment and she was incredibly rude. Usually my wife takes the dog there and they always call her for a pickup after the grooming is completed. For whatever reason, she called me at work since we were running 10 minutes behind at 7 am. I understand that’s our fault and I apologized. I also said my wife is on the way and we only live 8 minutes away, but she would hardly give me a chance to speak and kept berating me about the importance of being on time, scheduling, and how this was unacceptable etc. This was unnecessary and we ended up canceling and bathed our dog ourselves. Also, after assessing our dog at home from 2 previous visits she usually missed more than a few spots which resulted in uneven hair growth. I am sure they are not missing our business, but I would avoid this place unless you want yourself or your dog treated rudely in the event you don’t live up to her standards. Aside fom the grooming, parking is awful! There’s designated spots for grooming but I don’t think they’re monitored.

We have a 13 year old 2.5 pound yorkie who gets really nervous away from us. We have had her groomed numerous times at Grooming at Grayhawk, and they really do a good job. Yesterday in particular, however, she was calm and happy when we picked her up. So much so that my husband asked if I had given her calming medication before the groomer. Her haircut is seriously the cutest, and we could not be happier! Thanks!
