Dog Star Grooming

Today was the 2nd time I've come here and they all do an amazing job. My 2yo lab Dooley is quite the handful when it comes to bathing, nails, etc so I appreciate all the patience and love they provide. Dooley came home looking extra shiny and happy. I moved further away from Star so I usually bathe Dooley myself, but I was contacting other grooming places near me and they were charging 2x or more than what I paid here. It's reasonably priced meaning I feel confident in leaving a tip. Thank you for all your hard work, especially for the more chaotic dogs who have are harder time with being groomed y'all are the best!

Great with anxious babies! When a community points towards a single groomer, you know you can trust them. We took our texas heeler in for a mouth cleaning, nails done, and a bath, which would have been her first bath with someone other than family. Should be noted that we have taken her here for nail clips and she gets pretty nervous about those! When my husband dropped her off for her spa day, Basil was pretty nervous and didn't want to separate from his side. So she hunkered down on the couch out front and refused to move. My husband was a little concerned but one of the women (did not catch her name), sat down with our girl and told him not to worry, she'll have her in the back in no time. With that, we both knew we left Basil with an animal lover who knows a thing or two about her clients' needs. When my husband went and picked her up, he didn't see any stress from her aside from her just wanting to leave (in the past at petco she jumped over their gate to get away from them). We will happily use this groomer again. Thanks so much for taking care of Basil for us!

I've been taking my dog Stevie here for almost two years, and the team is fantastic. She's a nervous dog by nature, but they do a great job getting her through a groom and nail clip. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a groomer upgrade!

Engre is the best 🐕 groomer in Seattle, bar none. My aussiedoodle is so happy to see her everytime he needs a haircut or a good brush-out. I recommend Dog Star to everyone I know. Also, ask Engre what the name 🐶🌟 means!

We've been bringing our labradoodle to Dog Star for seven years and the crew never disappoints. Haircut always looks great, dog comes back happy, and the staff is extremely friendly!

I brought my very nervous terrier "Birdy" in to have a nail trim for the first time with Ingrid and boy did she and her assistant make it a positive experience. They were calming, efficient, timely, and professional. Birdy and I are so grateful and will definitely be back.

I like Dog Star, but I have found it troublesome getting ahold of them to schedule an appointment. I will often call and have no one pick up or return my call, and sometimes if I swing by to schedule in person (I live in the neighborhood) I find them closed unexpectedly during business hours. When I can get in, they do a great job. Customer service is excellent and they make my dog feel comfortable and give her a great nail trim every time. Just wish it was easier to get in to see them - I’d love to give them more of my business!
