Barb's House of Grooming

Was traveling and our dog got dirty in an Airbnb rolling in something. We were very happy that Barb worked us in and got our dog taken care of right away.

Called to have my 4 1/2 lb puppy groomed kept being told my Puppy is too big and would have to refer her elsewhere. Did not listen only responded.

I will NEVER return. Not only does my dog have scrapes all over him but one of them managed to get infected. (He is fine) Funny part is I remember this happening to our family dogs, but I thought maybe that was a random thing .. and it was years ago... NOPE. I'm absolutely floored that this is what passes for acceptable... Even more floored that this place manages to stay open. I hate leaving bad reviews.. hate it even more that these people are family friends... But my dog (and yours) is more important than their feelings. I hope this insights change.

The ladies here do a superb job with my Yorkie & former schnauzer. They speak so much kindness, love and life over you while you’re there too. It’s a joy to walk in and I know my pup is happy the entire time also! Will never go anywhere else.

Never Again! My mom and I brought our babies to this groomer and we were so excited. Randy was a delight on the phone and in person. My poodle is anxious and can be aggressive when getting out of the kennel. I was up front about this. Never was I told there would be a 30 extra charge. When we picked up our babies the cost for my poodle went from 49 to 85, and nobody called me? They did say they had challenges with my boy, but still no call. They did refund the difference. My moms baby is a gem, but they butchered her. All we asked for was a light trim on her back "skirt" but they shaved her bottom, chopped up her tail and cut way too much hair off. My boy is shaved ultra close to the skin and has razor burns. Moms girl is acting very different. Like she was traumatized. I am highly disappointed.

I am from out of town visiting my aunt and we carried my pet to Barbs. They were so gracious and welcoming to us. I showed them a picture of my pet the way I wanted him to look and they did an excellent job. I was so pleased. I wish I could bring him back each time he needs to be groomed, but I live to far. Very, Very pleased!
