Megan has been absolutely incredible with my dog, Henry. He’s a big guy with a sensitive side, and finding someone I trust with him has not been easy. From day one, Megan has been so thoughtful, gentle, and genuinely caring with him. What I appreciate most is how observant and knowledgeable she is. She gives me great updates on Henry’s body condition, skin, coat, and overall wellness, which makes me feel like she’s caring for the whole dog, not just giving a haircut or bath. She notices the little things and communicates them in a way that feels helpful, never alarmist. She’s also incredibly honest and trustworthy. Megan only recommends or performs what she truly feels is necessary and never oversells services, which I deeply appreciate. And maybe the biggest endorsement of all: Henry genuinely seems okay with going to the groomer, which is a first! That alone says everything. I’m so grateful to have found someone who treats him with such kindness and care. Highly, highly recommend Megan. here's a before and after from today's session!

I had the pleasure of meeting Kaela and the owner of this location. The staff was incredibly friendly and they had a great selection of toys, treats, and accessories. We came from phoenix Arizona for the weekend and brought our Augie to the dog beach. He absolutely needed to be washed before heading home the self service options were outstanding! 3 different types of shampoo to choose from and a ton of brushes, cotton balls, and conditioner to go with it! The view was incredible and the bay doors were a fantastic touch! It made washing our dog a fun and enjoyable experience! Thank you dirty dogs for an incredible experience and please open one of these in phoenix!!!!!

Megan at Dirty Dogs Solana Beach is the best groomer we have ever been to! She is so patient and the dogs love her. She is a queen of Samoyeds. Seriously, I think majority of the San Diego samoyed community goes to her!

Had an amazing experience at Dirty Dogs in Solana Beach for our dog grooming appointment, and a huge reason why was Gage Dimdiman. He was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful throughout the entire process. You can tell he genuinely cares about both the dogs and the customers. He took the time to answer questions, made us feel comfortable leaving our dog there, and provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. Our dog came back looking great and happy. It’s rare to come across someone who goes above and beyond the way Gage did. Highly recommend Dirty Dogs, especially if you get the chance to work with Gage!

Dirty Dogs has been our go-to spot for washes ever since we had our little Frenchie. We always trusted the staff, the products, and the overall experience with our dog. After our sweet girl passed, we ended up fostering — and eventually adopting — a shepherd mix (Akita/Shepherd to be exact!). He went from 35 lbs to 108 lbs very quickly, and washing him ourselves became quite the challenge. Thankfully, we got paired with the amazing Megan, who just so happens to be incredible with giant, furry, shedding dogs! We absolutely adore her and feel so grateful to have a place like Dirty Dogs in our community. Our gentle giant, Jacko, loves it too. Anytime we even head in that direction — whether it’s bath day or not — his tail starts wagging extra fast and he gets so excited. Highly, highly recommend. I truly can’t imagine trusting anyone else with my baby. And the treat and toy selection is top shelf, too!

I went to Dirty Dogs in Solana Beach for the first time after spending the day at the beach and needing a place to wash our dog. The entire experience from start to finish was outstanding. Gage greeted us immediately and took the time to explain the different service options and pricing in detail. He was extremely knowledgeable, not only about the services but also the products they carry, which made us feel confident in our choices. The customer service was top-tier, the atmosphere was welcoming, and everything was clean and well organized. You can tell they genuinely care about their clients and pets. It’s rare to find a place that combines professionalism, expertise, and a great customer experience so well. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Dirty Dogs to anyone looking for quality service and knowledgeable staff!

I came in for a self wash and Evana was so helpful. I had never been in before and she answered all my questions and even recommended the best products for my fur baby. I HIGHLY recommended going to the solana beach and meeting Evana.
