Petco Grooming

This grooming service is a disaster. I brought my dog who has never been professionally groomed there today and my dog left terrified. They handled her experience incredibly poorly. My dog was already nervous, which I wrote in my notes and told her when I showed up. Instead of being calm with my dog, this woman cornered her, made me walk away, then proceeded to say that my dog tried to bite her after she tried to touch her butt while she was backed into a corner. After all of this, she proceeded to act like a child with severe anxiety. This was so unprofessional and frustrating. If you work with dogs you need to know what the hell you are doing! This groomer deserves 0 stars. I’m very angry and disappointed in the treatment of my dog.

Every time I bring my dogs I am pressured to add services. Fine - I get it's a business. However at my last visit, they changed the services I booked WITHOUT asking or even mentioning it. They changed the service to a more expensive one. It's like they hoped I wouldn't notice before I signed!! When I asked why they changed the services (and the overall cost) without my consent, the groomer was rude, defensive, and did not apologize. I did speak to the manager who apologized and said it was a "miscommunication". Sure. This is just not an honest way to conduct business. Done being judged and treated like scum for just wanting the basic package that I booked. It's expensive enough as it is. I will never go back.

They know exactly what it takes to maintain a Sheepadoodle’s coat without matting, without unnecessary shaving, and without compromising the look of the breed. It’s been over a year since my dog has needed to be shaved — something I never thought I’d be able to say. The consistency, care, and skill she brings to every appointment shows in my dog’s coat, comfort, and confidence. She takes the time to listen, she understand the breed’s unique needs, and she deliver results every single time. I’m incredibly grateful to have finally found someone who treats my dog with such expertise and genuine care.

I have been using Petco Grooming for 5 or 6 years and my dogs have been treated very well and always a great groom. Anna is a remarkable groomer! My boys get really excited to see her, they actually love groom day! Overall service at this salon is excellent & the store cashiers are always helpful at checkout and very friendly. Anna, my dogs groomer is amazing! She is professional , communicates very well, is caring, helpful, patient, kind, fun and her grooming skills are excellent!! She is a 5 star (I’d give more stars if you had more) groomer and a true gem! Thank you Anna, thank you Petco.

I'm a visitor to Sparks and needed a groom for my 10-year old dog. I looked around and found Petco nearby and the groomer Mike with great reviews so I decided to book an appointment. Mike did a great job and everything we agreed to and more. He was very kind to Louie and I am very pleased with my experience at Petco Grooming in Sparks. Thanks Mike for a great experience.

Actually, she was very satisfied with the work and everyone is very kind and very professional Kiki and Mizka are very nervous but the person who attended them was very professional in the treatment of them are two female Huskies and they were beautiful thanks for everything.

Dave did an excellent job on my Minature Schnazer, Dolly. She had been to him before and he remembered us and her. My dog also recognized him. This is the only place I trust to take care of my precious dog. Petco is the only groomers we will take our Dog. Lorrie Powers. Fernley, NV
