The Dirty Hairy Grooming Salon

I needed a new groomer for my fur babies Teddy and Layla and decided to give The Dirty Hairy a try based off of great reviews and how close they are to my home… I was super happy with their service today! While their former groomer did a decent job, they would have my dogs anywhere from 5-8 hours, which seemed extreme to me; however, I continued to use them for the last 4 years until I determined it was time to find someone closer to home. Today they had their first appointment with The Dirty Hairy and not only did they look amazing, but both of them were finished within 1 hour of their start time… and the groomers/owners were so nice and my dogs were very at ease in their shop. I am beyond thrilled to have found them. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I am very happy with everything! They are very quick to get you in for an appointment, I called on Saturday and was scheduled for Wednesday, I was always waiting for months at other places. I was very scared to take my dog back to the groomers after my last experience at another grooming salon. I previously went to a groomer in north Reno and they left him with multiple cuts and he was sad for an entire week. This is a picture of my dog after his first appointment at The Dirty Hairy Grooming Salon and he couldn't be any more happier! My brother took my dog to his appointment because I had to work but he said the workers were very nice to him. They are also faster than other grooming salons. We are very happy with our experience and will be coming back. 🙂

Worst place for your doodles! They hate doing them and they will cut them the way they want regardless of what you told them to do. They go against the way you want your baby groomed and screw it up so you don't come back!! Lisa was the worst! I should’ve listen to my dog when he didn’t want to go in there! They seem to be aggressive with pets. The guy in there is loud and obnoxious scarring the pets that are in there!!

I have a 15 year old Pomeranian that normally fears the grooming salon but my dog is always so happy to come here! They are always so gentle with him and they so quick! My dog literally leaves smiling! I highly recommend this place 🙂

I have been a loyal customer since they opened. Owner not friendly and I got the distinct impression that she considered my little terrier mix beneath her. Only wants show dogs. When I first started I had trouble making appointments every 6 to 7 weeks until one of the other groomers asked me if I wanted to book a year in advance. I have been doing that for 4 years but today I was told it would be three months. A loyal customer who pays and tips is just discarded . Pretty sure they have booked their show dog customers in advance but didn’t do mine.

Best people and great service! This is the place to go. They book out quite far because they are that good. Get on their calendar and make your routine appointments in advance. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My 8 year old German Shepherd, Cali gets quite anxious going to the vet or groomer. An issue that developed after surgeries when she was 7 months old. While she was her usual wary self going in for the first time, she was calm and relaxed when I picked her up. Her coat is amazing and her nails are shorter than I could ever get them. They even trimmed her feet so she won’t get snowballs from the upcoming storm. Great service and good people. I will be bringing her back for grooming in the future.
