My dog is extremely difficult to groom, he is very anxious and stressed. Despite his behavior, they did an amazing job! They were patient, kind and communicative with us. Thank you so much!

It's crazy some of the expectations people set for groomers when they aren't willing to groom their dog themselves. I have been coming here for years and NEVER have I had an issue with this establishment or Apollo's wonderful groomer, Kat! I have referred people to her from time to time and will keep doing so! PRICES ARE VERY FAIR (especially compared to commercial chains)! Kat is amazing, sweet and takes her time to ensure our fur babies as well as HER are safe. Bonus points for the cutest bandanas! Apollo is very happy to come here Thank you, Kat💙🐶

We were heartbroken to learn that our amazing groomer, Steven, is no longer with Lakeside. He always took such gentle, patient care of our dogs and made grooming a positive experience every time. We’ll definitely be following him to his new location at Scrubbers in Rochester! ⭐️ This rating reflects our disappointment with how Lakeside handled the situation, not with Steven, who was wonderful.

Love this place. My parents took my childhood dog here regularly, about 10 years ago when it was a couple doors down in the plaza. He always left with a wagging tail and they did a nice job with every grooming session. Fast forward 10 years later, I have a dog of my own, and that same great service continues!! My dog doesn’t like his toes touched, so I can’t cut them myself. I bring him here, we are in and out in less than 10 minutes. He leaves the store with the same happy/high energy as when he arrives. He’s never displayed any signs of nervousness before or after the nail clipping. I trust them with my pup! And he loves to pick out his good-boy snack as we’re leaving

Would give 10 stars ! My boy had a terrible experience at previous groomers so was nervous to take him and find a new groomer, from the time I messaged them ( I assume the owner) answered me immediately. He has some special needs and she was very understanding and caring. He’s not an easy groom and takes a long time as he needs frequent breaks. Jenna was amazing! So caring and kind, front desk staff was also lovely, I am so happy I found them! Everyone and all animals going in and out looked happy. I think they are super reasonable for pricing. Thanks for taking care of my bear, I know he is a lot 😊

I take my tiny toy Pomeranian, Ike, here! I started taking him here after bad experiences at a past groomer (nothing horrible, I just didn't like how she groomed him), and it's been amazing! He comes out looking adorable and smelling amazing every time! They just know how to groom him perfectly! The staff are all SUPER kind! It's honestly a delight to take him to get groomed now, which is something I didn't experience before. On top of that, he loves the food they sell here! They gave it to me as a sample and THANK GOODNESS for that! I've never seen him eat like he does now (which is great because I was worried he wasn't eating enough before)! Overall, I love Lakeside Dog Grooming & Pet Supplies and recommend them to everyone I can! They've really made my baby look the best he can AND helped him be a happier and healthier dog!
