Dogfather Grooming Stratford

Kayla at Dogfather’s has been taking care of my little guy for 7+ years. Everyone is great at making Tanner comfortable and his groom is always consistently great. Kayla takes extra care of him especially with nail trims, which is his least favorite. I am always happy with the service and the front desk staff are always friendly and accommodating.

I’m so grateful for this company for many years I use their services for my dogs My 13 year old Yorkie was groomed by the Dogfather and I absolutely love and trust how compassionate they were with her. Jessica her groomer was so gentle and kind with my Bella and I said was,because unfortunately she passed November 2025 but we still used their services for my daughters dogs. Recently I received a package and it was a gift "memorial " to remember my Bella and I was in tears knowing that they took their time to remember my Bella. I’m so grateful for this business. I absolutely recommend Dogfather. I won’t trust anyone. Thank you for all the love,caring your groomers and the staff at the salon,phone,schedule appointment etc. I know my Bella loves her pampering time with Dogfather 🥰 Thank you thank you!!

Five years ago we met our wonderful dog groomer Katie. Three years ago we followed her to DogFather grooming because she was that good! Katie does a wonderful job with our golden-doodle and grooms him according to the seasons, or his needs, or our directions. She’s a wizard! Katie is also kind, very professional, has great communication skills and always has our dog’s best interest in mind.

We absolutely love Brittany. She is hands down the best groomer we’ve ever had. And if you know doodles, you know they are not easy to groom well - the coat can go wrong fast. Brittany gets it perfect every single time. The cut is always balanced, fluffy in the right places, and never uneven or choppy. Beyond the grooming itself, Brittany is just wonderful. She’s incredibly sweet with our pup, patient, calm, and you can tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. She’s also consistently on time (which as a busy mom I deeply appreciate), professional, and makes the whole mobile process seamless. We won’t use anyone else. Highly, highly recommend. 🐾

I’ve been bringing my dog Princess to Dogfather since October 2021, and Sam has been wonderful! She’s always so caring and gentle, and Princess comes out looking and feeling great every time. We love Sam and wouldn’t go anywhere else 🥰

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My family hired the mobile groomer to come to our house and give our dog, Sox, a bath. Not only did the groomer cut one of his nails so short that it bled, but after the bath large patches of skin and fur started FALLING OFF of our dog and he needed to be rushed to the vet to see what was wrong. According to our vet in Stratford, it appears whatever cleaner/soap was used was expired or contaminated with some bacteria and caused an infection in multiple large areas of his skin. I am absolutely enraged by this situation and will be telling everyone I know in the area to stay far far away from this place... I am in absolute shock and cannot believe this. Not even an offer to give us our money back... $200 for this butcher job and another $700 at the vet because of the infection that this place caused. Absolutely horrible experience, legit -0/10.

Michelle was paw-sitively amazing! Kane absolutely loved his spa day and came back squeaky clean, happy, and feeling like a whole new pup. 🐾🛁 I can’t recommend TheDogfather enough — they’re timely, spotless, and truly fantastic with dogs. Their services are fur-bulous, and the care they provide really shows. Kane is already itching for his next bath (which says a lot!). 🐶✨
