This place SAVED our NYE cruise at the very last minute! The kennel where we were supposed to board our 2 GSDs decided to be closed on the day we were supposed to drop them off (the day before an 8-hour drive to Florida)! I hopped on the phone while still sitting in the parking lot of the other facility and they were able to accommodate our fur babies right then and there! THANK GOD for the Howl-a-Day Inn! We will definitely be using them again
They are always nice and my little dog always looks and smells great. Their prices are very reasonable as well.
My 🐕 puppy looks soooooo adorable. Great place to go. Very friendly. Professional all the way. Thanks...I will be back...Great job, did just what I wanted to a T.
I called to book boarding and the young lady was very informative and kind. And their pricing is very reasonable! I’m looking forward to this working relationship for our small dog.
I agree with prior reviews (disorganized, lack of compassion, lack of communication). The receptionists "lose" or "can’t find" your paperwork often. This week, the receptionist "lost" paperwork again, was surprised when I showed up (even after they called to confirm the reservation a few days prior). When I picked up my dogs, the receptionist was unprofessional when telling me about my dogs’ stay. When I asked why no one had given me a call, she gave me the run around that she wasn’t even supposed to be working that day. When I brought my dogs home to pet them & cuddle them like we always do, they both cowered down to the floor.
This was honestly one of the best places I've ever worked. Staff was always incredibly kind to the animals. The kennels are deep cleaned every time the dogs go out and the staff sometimes brings out a dog to play if its been there longer than other dogs. While I worked there we had a hound that had been boarded for a while and we brought him out to run and play for a couple hours. The groomer that worked here while I was there is also incredibly nice. She was always so gentle with the pups she groomed and the hair cuts always looks great.. The vet thats connected is great as well. The staff was friendly and they helped me with my rodent when he had overgrown teeth. Overall if youre in this area and need a boarding kennel or a groomer or a vet I recommend this place
We left our dog with them and they told us that they'd have to keep her one extra night to groom her the next day. We agreed. The next day they called and said they weren't going to groom her because she "was nervous". We were still charged for the extra night. Her hair was in worse condition when we picked her up than when we dropped her off. It was matted and wet, even though she never got a bath. We left a tupperware with food and a rope toy, but when we went to pick her up and asked for it back they said they lost it. Absolutely do not bring your dog here. The facility looks like trash and the service matches it. I wouldn't be surprised if they kept the dogs in chicken cages in the back. The employee was also incredibly rude and couldn't have cared less about any of this. I think it was the owner, so that explains a lot.
