Grooming Gals

These gals are always wonderful. They treat my little guy like he was part of their family. I love being able to take Lakota there. On his last visit I learned that I need to be more explicit Aunt wants of how I would like him to look when he's finished. It was a lesson for me to learn not their fault. So I will continue to give them a five-star rating!

I brought my dog in a couple weeks ago. He is a larger dog, a couple years old, and gets skittish when at the groomer. I had my daughter pick him up when his grooming was done. My dog was clean, soft, the haircut on him looked great, and he smelt good, we will definitely be back. However, something I want to note was that there was a homeless man lingering near the front, and my daughter did not feel very safe. Also the inside was not very clean, especially when comparing it to our old groomer. Might have just been a busy day, but we will be back to get him done again. Everyone was very nice, and welcoming.

My dog Bear is a rescue who had never had regular nail trims, and his nails were so overgrown they curled into his paws. A previous groomer even muzzled him and upcharged me for moving. Leslie at Grooming Gals was the complete opposite — patient, gentle, and reassuring. She explained they keep dogs with the same groomer to build trust, and Bear actually did really well with her. No issues, no extra fees, just kindness. Highly recommend, we’ve returned twice now.

Candace is INCREDIBLE. She has groomed both my cats and my two service dogs. She is patient, creative, and flexible. She listens to not only your needs but your pets needs as well. I’ve been with her for over three years now with regular monthly grooms on my dogs. Her work has never disappointed or brought any concern. She grooms my cats early in the morning before the dogs to cause less stress, which is hugely appreciated. One of my cats will let you do anything and the other is sassy. She treats both of them with the same love and attention. Both of my dogs have always come home calm and relaxed with no signs of distress or discomfort. One of my dogs is 150lbs with hip pain, she handles him gracefully with compassion. Her prices are competitive, though if she charged more I would gladly play it! I recommend her above anyone else. Her dedication to her business and her passion for animals shines through. Peep the beautifully colored tails she gives my giant breed service dog!

they did so good with my kitty! my kitty is normally very nervous and very scared when meeting new people and even when getting in the car but they really helped her and she did not attack at all! if u have a kitty i would recommend to have a 6am appointment especially if they are scared of dogs or other animals. my kitty also got a lion shave and they did really good, all even and it looks really nice! she didn’t let them blend it before she got really scared so it’s a little choppy but it’s not their fault. overall i would really recommend!!

Took my rescue chihuahua in for nail trimming because he refuses to let me touch his paws at home. Usually grooming appointments become stressful fast, but the staff stayed calm even when he started acting stubborn. They worked slowly and didn’t try forcing him through the process. His nails finally looked short and smooth without any bleeding or irritation afterward. I also appreciated that they praised him constantly during the appointment instead of sounding frustrated. Small details like that really matter with nervous dogs.

The best place in Washington for dog grooming. Shauna is hands down the best. She's been grooming my dog Buster for the past 8yrs & does an awesome job. Everyone there is extremely nice & kind & they genuinely care about your fur babies. I will never go anywhere else
