Lakeside Grooming

Bean has been a regular at Lakeside for so long, I think he has his own kennel! Always excited to see everyone and looks so spiffy with a new bandanna every-time we pick him up!

This was our first experience at Lakeside Grooming, and they went out of their way to made sure it was a very pleasant one. the pricing was very reasonable, and they were professional throughout, giving my Border Collie Beagle Mix dog a bath and trim suitable for its breed. Would highly recommend!

I love taking my Tipsy here. She’s my new puppy and she likes them. I used to take sugar bear and Leo and they loved to go there also and they always looked awesome. When they came home. These girls worked really hard to make your dog beautiful.

We have been taking Louie and Dash here for about 6 months now. And we absolutely love the quality of work that they provide each appointment. Our boys get bathed, nails trimmed, and ears cleaned and they look amazing every time. Their prices are affordable and their customer service is top tier. You have two customers for life here in Tallahassee.

While we were evacuated to Tallahassee during Hurricane Ian we decided to have our yorkie groomed for the first time. This groomer(Roseann) called be back shortly after I left a message and was extremely accommodating.They were able to take her the following morning. They were so friendly and did a great job in under two hours. They also undercharged us and refused to accept a tip! I wish I could go back again and again, finding a groomer like this for my anxious pup is so difficult where I live. Highly recommended!

I've been taking my dog here for almost 2 years now, once every 1-3 months for a bath, and I've always had good experiences. They do a great job at bathing my dog, trimming her nails, cleaning her ears etc. They love my Ella baby and take great care of her. Their prices are fair and reasonable. This morning my car wouldn't start after I dropped my dog off; they went out of their way to help me jump my car, and even offered to drive me back home. Highly recommend.

So I choose this place because of the stellar reviews and the reasonable prices, however now I know why I have to pay some groomers a little bit more money for my dog’s grooming. When discussing what I wanted for the dog I just said cut some hair under her head, around her body, and a little bit of her tail. The receptionist mentioned so a "summer cut", I said sure since past groomers have done the same cut for my dog. However, my dog ended up looking like a rodent by the end of the grooming. I don’t really understand why they shaved so close to her skin if she didn’t have knots or anything! At the corner of the ear I did also see that it was unusually red like an accident occurred at the groomers, and that’s fine since that can occur. However, they didn’t say anything about it. Maybe I am overreacting, but I was just very disappointed in the haircut. I didn’t know the "summer cut" basically had the dogs skin showing. They also cut her whiskers off I guess for aesthetic reasons but dogs need their whiskers. I am not that mad about that since I know they grow back. The photo of her in the car was from a past groomer in Miami that did a summer’s cut. You can clearly see the difference in quality, and the bows were also well placed. Won’t be coming back for sure.
