Sublime Grooming

That was the easiest experience by far as of yet I have not even gotten my foot in the door to get my dog’s nails cut because she’s kind of extra and a low-key aggressive Chihuahua. But that was no factor for the salon. They got her in right away didn’t put a muzzle on her. I was able to hold her while josh clipped her nails. He used one method for the back nails, and when that method wasn’t working for the front paws he switched his method up and didn’t continue trying where he was struggling and it was an overall amazing experience. I’ll definitely be back and refer this company to anyone with a difficult dog.

I may not have written a review, even after my wife picked up our dog with the worst cut he has has ever received. But they didn't answer our call even though they were still open for another hour. We asked the groomer for a "puppy cut" which means a rounded face, with a fuller mustache and eye brows. I specifically said do not cut his long eyelashes. Not only did he cut them short but also cut them clearly uneven, left eye to right eye. When my wife picked up our dog, the groomer told her that he had to shave his ears down because my dog's ears were matted. Every other dog groomer we have ever taken our dog to (in 4 years) has been able to brush out his ears and cut them nicely. Shaving his ears down was just a time saving, lazy approach. The groomer clearly just slapped on one size shaver head and shaved him down. No artistry. No care to make him look good. Never again.

I've been bringing my dog here for a while. Its low cost and for what he needs, it works out. Called Wednesday to make an appointment. Sounded like I woke up the person from a nap that they were eager to get back to. Nevertheless, I booked an appointment for Friday (today). Showed up, rang the doorbell and saw no one for the 10 minutes I was waiting. Been feeling iffy about their services for a little bit and this was the final straw. Might want to look elsewhere.

What a disappointment. Joey kept my 5 month old puppy for 9 hours on Saturday, and also managed to ruin the hair we’ve been growing out for months on my standard poodle. I sent a text and left messages regarding her hair, and neither were acknowledged in 9 hours. We were also still charged the full $100 we were originally quoted. It’s one thing to take my money for crappy service, it’s another to mistreat my dog. If you love your animals, don’t bring them here.

I’ve tried two grooming shops in the past for my young pitbull. One was better than the other, but Sublime is the place I feel most peace in leaving my dog. We’ve been back twice and he’s always excited to walk in, and walks out super fresh.

I thought it was impossible to get my puppy a haircut but Sublime Grooming came through for us and did a great job! So grateful 😊

Normally I don’t write reviews but I’m doing it for this reason so no dog parent goes through this. I had a morning appointment and dropped my dog off for his grooming appointment and i didn’t pick him up until after 7pm! I called a few times to check on him and why it was taking so long. They said their pizza lunch had been late so the staff was running behind. When I got my dog home he was so thirsty he drank water like he hadn’t had any all day! Never again will I take him there. They shouldn’t keep my dog all day for a grooming appointment!
