Long overdue review! I’ve been bringing my boy Patrick for several years. ✨ If I could give 10 stars, I would. My boy doesn’t just look like a show dog after every appointment—he feels like one too. And that’s all thanks to Rachel and her amazing staff (aka the canine whisperer and miracle worker). From the moment we walk in, Patrick is treated like royalty with patience, love, and a keen eye for detail that goes far beyond just a skilled de fluffing and trim (with a Pomsky there’s a TON of fluff). They take the time to check his skin, coat, ears, nails, teeth-literally everything—to make sure he's not just clean, but healthy too. They also add on adorable themed bandannas and bows🥹 If you're looking for someone who combines top-tier grooming skills with genuine compassion for your fur baby’s well-being, look no further. K-9 Designs is a rare gem, and Patrick and I are lucky to have found them. I can’t thank Rachel and her kind and compassionate staff enough! 🫶🏼💕🐾

I'm very pleased to have found Rachel's K9 Design in Tulsa. I'll start off by saying I probably wouldn't want to be my own customer. I'm particular. I have a Welsh Terrier named Kennedy, and the problem I've experienced is that most groomers only know how to cut a schnauzer. When I've asked groomers beforehand if they know how to cut a Welsh Terrier, they always say yes, but Kennedy comes out looking like a schnauzer. Rachel's K9 Design is well versed in a variety of breed cuts. Moreover, and honestly more importantly, Rachel's K9 Design is gentle with the animals they groom. They use tear free shampoo which I confirmed. This is another issue I've had with other groomers; they will say they use tear free shampoo, but after I further research the product it is not. Lastly, I feel the price is fair and quite competitive for the professional treatment and service they offer. Rachel's K9 Design is a organized, clean and well run salon. Just by dropping-off and picking-up Kennedy I could tell the employees enjoyed their job and cared about the animals. I highly recommend Rachel's K9 Designs!

Your dog is safe here, you can trust them 100%. I walked in with my dog for grooming and before I left one of the girls noticed she was twitching in a strange way. Another one came over and told me she was having a seizure and to pick her up and hold her tight. All three of us were on our knees while I cried, held my dog and the two of them helped keep her mouth wiped from all the frothing and kept talking to her so sweet. I was SO GLAD they were with me as I would not have know what to do. They do know and they helped me save her. Once out of the seizure, they gave me towel to take with me to the ER vet in case I needed it. Such sweet, caring people. We have always loved it here and our dog is very clean and well cared for. This is just another reason why you should bring your dog to Rachels. Thank you so much for helping BB and I.

i have been going here for years and i absolutely love the way my dog looks and how clean he is every time i pick him up. i have a sweet 120 lbs Rottie that absolutely despises his nails getting touched and shows signs of where the groomers boundaries may lie—and they respect his boundaries while also showing dominance and that is what i expect when it comes to other people handling my dog.

UPDATE: Regi has been coming here since my previous groomer did retire and he LOVES getting groomed and loved on by Kyla and the staff! Thank you so much for taking such good care of my Regi! K-9 was recommended to me by my groomer who is on medical leave. Regi had never been to anyone else so I was a little nervous for how he would react going into a new place as he is still being socialized, but he was in dire need of a bath and trim. K-9 groomers were rock stars! He was happy coming out and beautifully clean and trimmed! Thank you to K-9 for taking care of my pup so well and turning him back into the gorgeous guy that he is! If my regular groomer does end up retiring, we will definitely be back!
