Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Vestavia Hills

I had such a great experience at Woof Gang with Kathryn! My dog Demi has been with the same groomer for years, so I was really nervous about trying somewhere new — especially since she can be anxious and a bit reactive during grooming. Before booking, I spoke with Kathryn and she suggested starting with a mini groom so Demi could ease into it, which I really appreciated. Demi was nervous at drop-off, but the receptionist and Kathryn were both so kind and took the time to understand her needs. It ended up being a wonderful experience, and even days later Demi still smells amazing and her fur is so soft — and that was just from the mini groom! We’ll absolutely be back (already planning her full groom in a couple weeks). So grateful to have found such a patient and caring groomer!

When we recently relocated to the area, one of my primary concerns was finding a new groomer for our fur baby, Remy. She loved her now out-of-state groomers, had never gone anywhere else, and as her puppy parents we knew she was well taken care of and cared for in our absence. I am so relieved to have found Woof Gang and Ashley P! When we arrived for the first visit, Remy was so anxious her back legs were shaking (which broke my heart) - everyone at Woof Gang could not have been kinder or more friendly to Remy and when I picked her up I knew she’d found her place. Now whenever we reach the parking lot she gets so excited/happy she cannot wait to get in the door to see her new friends and be spoiled (in a good way!). Additionally, Remy has some pretty bad seasonal allergies and as a result has a more complicated than normal bathing/drying process with veterinary shampoos and conditioners, etc. Ashley takes the extra work on with a smile and always does such a wonderful job whether Remy is there for the luxe bath or a full grooming (today we were even surprised with little bows on Remy’s ears after her bath only treatment!); plus, Remy adores her! We appreciate Ashley so much - thank you Woof Gang!

Called ahead for a quick trim of my senior shih tzu's face. He's had a jaw surgery due to cancer & hates having anyone near his face, especially anyone with scissors. He's stopped being tolerant of my trimming up his face & it was starting to drive us both crazy, having all the hair in his eyes. They did a wonderful job cleaning up around his eyes & didn't force it when he stopped being tolerant of them trimming around his mouth, & I love that. I'd rather have him have some extra hair around his mouth, than have a groomer that'll will force him into an uncomfortable situation! Great job guys, appreciate you & we'll be back!

They did an amazing job with our border collie! We took our dog to another local groomer and weren’t thrilled with the results. We chose to give Woof Gang try and so happy we did. We will definitely be using them from now on. Plus a have a ton of goodies in their bakery which Bodhi enjoyed!

Raina had her first ever (that I know of) grooming experience at Woof Gang. I am a new dog owner and booked the Full Groom. When she was dropped off, they let me know that she really didn’t need the Full Groom, but a Luxury Bath would fit her needs better. I was really appreciative that they provided me with a recommendation, as it also saved me some money! As you can see in the pictures, I would say she had an amazing time. I just booked her second groom! Just doing a Luxury Bath this time.

I love woof gang! Kathryn was awesome! She listened to exactly what I wanted & executed. I’m so excited to be a customer I’ve been searching long and hard for good groomer. It’s days later and he still smells so fresh and clean. They are also fast! It took less than 2 hours! My baby loved it and so did I! Thank you wolf gang.

Beautiful store. Grooming to Bichon Frise was excellently done. I loved they made actual grooming appointments vs having to drop off your fur baby. Usually took 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours. An appointment scheduled several weeks in advance in early December was not acceptable. We arrived on time only to be told groomer had another dog and it would be about 2 hours. I wasn’t happy as my husband had unexpected surgery and time was not my friend. I waited 2 1/2 hours before returning. Groomer had another dog then, too. My sweet pooch had been bathed and then put in warming room. I told them I would have to take her. Nice front desk lady had to call someone first to say Izzy’s mom wanted to take her. I was charged about $68 for luxury bath and left with shaggy, ungroomed dog.
