Emily has been grooming our 4yo mini Bernedoodle (about 35-40 lbs) since he was a puppy. She always does the greatest work and is so gentle and kind to him. He loves her so much! On the rare occasion when we’ve had him groomed at another shop due to scheduling conflicts, in the end no one is as good as Emily! We drive from SF to Walnut Creek just to go to Wink.

Update 8/29/2025 Miranda too care of Willie today and did a great job. Picture says a thousand words so I will attempt to add one from this visit. Update 5/28/2025 Emily and her staff are amazing. Willie was one of the first customers to Wink Dog upon the opening on Cypress Street. We waited for the shop to be completed and it was worth it. Emily is the best groomer in the Bay Area. So good it was only a matter of time before she needed to expand. My dog has had some health issues and Emily made Willie a priority when a cancellation occurred. Emily takes care of all types of dogs. Maybe your dog just needs a bath. Wink Dog can do it! Or maybe yours needs a full groom with some extra TLC Wink Dog can do that too. We love Wink and Em! We have tried multiple dog salons in San Francisco and the East Bay and Emily is the ONLY person that we trust with our two dogs. One of our dogs has separation anxiety and the other has grooming anxiety (great! lol) and she is so patient with both. Plus, she knows how to groom doodles! Their faces always turn out perfect. We tried 5 salons in SF before we found Em at her old spot and went to her for 2+ years, and when we moved to Orinda in July we were bereft without a groomer out here. We went through 2 different groomers in the East Bay who left our dogs with rashes and extreme anxiety. I can't tell you how relieved we were that Em moved her salon to Walnut Creek - just 10 minutes from us! Our dogs are always happy to see her, and always come home looking (and smelling) perfect. Now we'd follow Em to the east coast if it came to it!

Emily is the best groomer ever. She is the owner of Wink and came from the city where she was the first and only groomer we ever used for our pup. The new facility is awesome, super clean, 15min parking outside for pickup and drop off convenience - located next to Harold's cleaners. Great prices and service and expertly skilled! Our pup actually is excited to go to Emily every time! So happy that Wink Dog Salon is in the area now!!

Emily always does an amazing job on udon’s haircut. She is Udon’s groomer since he was 9 months! She is very professional and been treated udon with care and kindness. I am grateful that she is one of the reason that he enjoys every bath to this date and stay so calm all the time during his bath!

Emily is the best groomer we have ever had! We followed her from SF to Walnut Creek all while living in Menlo Park. As someone who hates commuting, she is absolutely worth the drive. She is very loving with my 2 rescued reactive boys. I have a tiny reactive tripod rescue who trusts about as many people as he has limbs. I love that Emily gets kisses and cuddles from him often while grooming and while waiting for us to pick him up. She is very in tune with the dogs she deals with prioritizing building trust over design but man does she execute design none the less! We get compliments on their cuts often, and the products used are high quality, leave a lasting clean smell, and a health coat. Recently we have seen Monea the salon bather who is also just as sweet, loving, and patient with our difficult boys. I love the team at Wink and will continue to trek out there for my pups!
