Wags to Whiskers

I came in with a matted, angry little dog and left with a handsome gentleman. I cannot recommend Michelle enough. My dog hadn't been professionally groomed in 2 years, he's a rescue that had to be sedated at intake because of how resistant he was and we were turned away from another less professional groomer because of his aversion. But Michelle was quick and gentle and patient and by the end he was calm and trusted her, although we had a bit of struggle due to his anxiety. 10/10 experience! Legitimately amazing pro!

Michelle is a very kind hearted person who is AMAZING with all Dogs! Cooper(german Shepherd, Husky, Lab mix) has high anxiety away from our home but he goes right into her shop and lets Michelle groom him without any issue. I cannot even trim his nails in between visits, and he lets her do it without a fight. I would highly recommend her Wags to Whiskers to anyone!

I have a rescue husky mix. I could not be more happy with how her anxiety was handled, how patient and caring her bath went. She came home happy and clean. Super happy!!

I have a paw-sensitive greyhound, and Michelle gets down on the floor with her and dremels her nails with the patience and kindness of a saint. She's also very professional regarding scheduling and communicating, incredibly knowledgeable, and clearly wants what is best for all the animals who walk through her door. Her prices are beyond fair (as in, I tip her extra because she's so worth it). Plus, she's just a downright cool person. It is a pleasure doing business with her, and I give her my highest recommendation.

Wags to Whiskers always gets my Pup so clean, shiny, smells so good, nails cut, and gets rid of all the shedding hair. My Shiba Inu hates to be washed so it was difficult for me to wash him myself. I am so grateful for the wonderful work Wags to Whiskers do for my dog! Thank you!

It's been a frustrating experience because Michelle is such a talented groomer. Our dog Lucy can be a handful, and I've appreciated the patience she's shown with her...when appointments are kept. I'm always reluctant to leave a negative review as I know it can affect someone's livelihood. We have driven out of our way from Greenwood for the last two appointments only to have a cancellation hours before the actual appointment. This has been part of an ongoing trend. Thumbing through texts, I'd estimate 40-50% of our Saturday appointments have been rescheduled over the past two years. I've tolerated it because I know life happens for a small business owner, but communication has been lacking and "life" seems to happen so often that I no longer think it a coincidence. We make appointments so that we can reliably make plans; I should not have to make back-up plans for every appointment we schedule. Today's cancellation may be legit, but it's part of a pattern that I can no longer support. If you can tolerate constant schedule changes, then yes, you should go here. Again, Michelle is extremely talented and does excellent work. It's frustrating because we want to continue working with her, but it's been too much, too often for us to continue to do so.

Immediately Michelle picked up and made me feel valued. I was booked for my fur babies appointment within two weeks. At arrival the instant bond between Michelle's professional approach and my baby girls (Lab/Pit rescue) instantly removed all concerns... she truly has an amazing gift! In our short and very efficient meeting she was extremely informative and willing to educate me.the care she showed for my baby was a God send. I can not praise Michelle and her business prof Forever a custo.er.essionalism enough. And my baby is so fresh and so clean!! 😍
