Groom - Dog Care With Love

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place deserves it. I’ve been searching for a truly five-star groomer, somewhere that genuinely cares and is filled with real love, and I finally found it in West Hollywood at Dog Care with Love. Toni, the owner, personally answers the phone, takes the time to listen, and makes you feel completely taken care of from the very beginning. That level of attention really stood out to me. I brought my 5-year-old Pomeranian, Snowy, and from drop-off to pick-up, she received consistent, focused care the entire time. You can tell she was handled with patience, kindness, and genuine love. Snowy was pampered for two full hours, and I absolutely loved it. You could see it in everything. She smelled it, she felt it, and she looked it. Angie was Snowy’s groomer, and she was exceptional. The way she handled Snowy and the attention to detail in her work truly stood out. The grooming came out perfect, clean, and beautifully done, exactly how a Pomeranian should look. Most importantly, Snowy was calm and happy when I picked her up, which says everything. As a dog owner, that kind of peace of mind is priceless. Always kind with my dog who has epilepsy. After thorough research, I went with Groom LA because they use the best products and have a veterinarian on call should a medical concern happen with your dog. My dog leaves happy and not afraid, like at previous groomers. Very responsive when texting about appointments and rescheduling. I recommend Kim and Angie.

This was Eevee’s first time getting groomed here as we just moved to the area. The location is convenient. Unfortunately I don’t feel like I can in good conscience send Eevee back to get groomed here. Ben was our groomer. The hair/fur cut itself was fine. However, the nails were clipped too close to the quick. This can cause damage an and trauma to a sensitive pup like Eevee. They also remarked that Eevee did not like their paws held/stretched out for the clipping. Of course, if a dog experiences pain from a nail clipping, they will naturally recoil during the rest of the attempted clippings. The worst is this could have easily been avoided had they allowed me to observe the grooming as I requested. I asked Toni Kotite if I could stay with the groomer and Eevee while the grooming was being performed. This was to avoid separation anxiety and acclimate Eevee to their new groomer. They refused to allow me. I always think that is a red flag as a groomer with nothing to hide who treats their dogs will should have no problem with an owner being present for the process. Overall I cannot say that I trust that Groom treats our fur babies well given the outcome of the nail clippings and the lack of transparency. While the location was extremely convenient, we will continue looking for a groomer that really cares for dogs wellbeing.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Best in LA! If you are looking for a grooming spot that combines top-tier skill with genuine compassion, look no further than Groom LA. My dog, Ella, is incredibly anxious when it comes to grooming, and I’ve always worried about finding someone who could handle her temperament with patience. Enter Ben. To say he is a miracle worker is an understatement! Ella isn't just "handled" by him; she truly loves him. He has such a calming energy that puts her right at ease. Aside from his amazing way with dogs, Ben’s talent is unmatched. He gives Ella the cutest lion cut I have ever seen! Every time we pick her up, she looks like a little superstar and feels so much better. It is such a peace of mind knowing my girl is in safe, loving hands. We love Groom LA and we couldn't recommend Ben enough!

Kimberly is a FANTASTIC groomer. I have a Goldendoodle, and she always shapes his hair perfectly. Even those times she’s had to cut it short due to matting, she does an awesome job!! I can’t recommend her enough!!

Groom in West Hollywood is hands down the best grooming and daycare facility in LA! My Portuguese Water Dog, Winston, absolutely loves spending time there, whether it's for daycare or a grooming session. The staff is incredibly caring, attentive, and truly treats every dog like their own. The grooming services are top-notch—Winston always comes back looking perfect, and I trust them completely to keep him comfortable and well cared for. The daycare is just as fantastic; Winston gets plenty of playtime, socialization, and comes home happy and well-exercised. It's clear that the team at Groom genuinely loves what they do, and it makes all the difference. If you're looking for a place where your pup will be loved, pampered, and well cared for, look no further. Highly recommend!

My Sweet girl Kali has been coming here since March 2024 consistently and I can honestly say that this is hands-down, the best groomers across the board. The owner is the sweetest, kind and most genuine person who really cares for all of the dogs in her care. This facility is gorgeous and clean. Coming from New Jersey, it was hard to find a groomer that was willing to care for her because she has high energy and is terrified of the blow dryer or any little bit of wind lol. Here at Groom LA Kali always feels safe and happy and I couldn’t ask for anything more. Thank you guys!
