Groomer left before speaking to me, unable to answer questions including why they couldn’t use the dryer on my dog, if the glands were expressed, etc. My dog also seemed far more stressed here than with her previous groomer. Checkin took over 30 minutes due to the line and the groomer seemed impatient when I wanted to ask questions and give specific instructions as it was our first visit there. We went to a petco groomer in VA prior to moving here last week and hoped to have the same standard of care and establish a regular groomer. Will not return.

My puppy is my world and only the best for him! The drop of my puppy felt safe and that he would be taken care of. They treat dogs and people with compassion and professionalism. The scheduling process was fast and easy! My puppy is hair is so soft and feels healthy! Rocky is for sure a happy puppy! This is his first haircut cut. Thank you!

This is the second time I have taken my dog there (approximately 3 years ago I went there and had the same type of problem). They cut her hair way too short, did not leave hair on her ears or tail and she got sunburned the first few days and had to wear a T-shirt. She was supposed to look like a poodle, they charged $ 20 more than usual and it took them 4 hours to get her done.

I am beyond disappointed with WV Petco’s grooming services. My appointment has been canceled three times in a row with little to no notice. I find it unreasonable for a business to expect 48 hours notice from customers to cancel or reschedule but cannot hold themselves to the same standard. This level of unreliability is completely unacceptable for a business that claims to provide professional pet care. If you can’t honor scheduled appointments, don’t offer them in the first place. Pet owners depend on these services, and constant cancellations show a complete lack of respect for customers’ time. I will be taking my business elsewhere, and I strongly advise others to do the same unless Petco can get its act together.
