I am so lucky I found Lucky Dog Salon and Jeff who is the Groomer. Not only does Jeff always do a great job, he befriends all the dogs that he grooms. I have two dogs, one is a little Yorkie and one is a medium Golden Doodle. Both of my dogs love to go see Jeff. If I mention his name they get all excited. But the best part is how he is so good with the dogs that he is able to groom them without any problems. He is so kind to the animals and they feel this which makes them want to come back. I highly recommend Lucky Dog Salon on Bridge Street in Weymouth. I have always owned a dog and I have never ever had a better groomer or kinder person then Jeff. Trust me, you will not regret bringing your animals to Jeff.

Phenomenal job, Jeff is awesome and has a great personality. My dog Lola was very happy afterwards with her new toy. I totally recommend!

I wish I had trusted my instincts and avoided this place. The facility didn’t feel clean, and my interactions with Jeff were very concerning. He tends to dismiss owners’ input and repeatedly insists he "knows everything" because he’s trained dogs for years. Unfortunately, his handling style created a deep fear response in my dog that we are still trying to undo. My dog now panics at the sight or sound of nail grinders because of how he was handled here as a puppy. During one visit, he screamed in fear while being forcibly restrained, and I was told I was "babying" him. That is not appropriate or humane handling. Other groomers have been horrified when I described what happened and have been patiently working to rebuild his trust just to trim his nails at all. After our second visit, my dog was so stressed that he developed explosive diarrhea and required an emergency vet visit. This is not something that should ever happen after routine grooming. I’m sharing this review because I don’t want other owners to experience the same regret or the long-term behavioral issues we are still working through. Trust your instincts, and don’t let anyone dismiss your concerns simply because they claim to "know best." If I could go back in time, I would never have trusted this place with my dog. Please be cautious.

I bring my two long haired cats here to get shaved for the warmer weather and I can’t say enough good things. My cats are very large and difficult to cut and I’ve had groomers in the past give them back to me not finished. He does an excellent job and is super friendly. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a cat groomer and any customers I’ve seen come in to get their dogs seem very happy as well.

Honestly, I'm usually too lazy to write a review (also because I want to keep the good places to myself) but this place definitely deserved one. Location: It's on a major road. There's no parking/stopping in the front of the store but plenty on the smaller streets. Store Environment: Very clean and neat. There's a fan and AC on, keeping your dogs cool through the summer heat. There are tons of pictures of cute dogs on the wall to keep you busy if you plan to wait like I did. Service: It may take a few minutes for someone to come out but it's worth the wait. Jeff, the owner, greeted us with excitement which made my dog feel comfortable right away. My dog is very reactive and skittish when it comes to grooming or nails. Jeff was extremely patient and calm with him. He went above and beyond for us. Price: It was extremely affordable and cheaper than the pet-store chains. They don't try to upsell you on anything extra.

I have a Yorkie and the haircut was very well done. My Yorkie doesn't like people. She was very comfortable with groomer.
