Pitt County K9 Academy: Grooming

We’ve been loyal customers of this business for more than seven years and have always appreciated the care our dogs received. Unfortunately, our most recent experience was extremely disappointing and will be our last. We previously used their mobile grooming service and never paid more than $250 per dog. When we were told mobile grooming had started back up, we scheduled an appointment. The grooming itself was fine, though we were not informed ahead of time that a different groomer would be coming. The real issue was the price. We were charged over $800 for two dogs, and at no point were we told there had been any change in pricing or that mobile grooming was now being billed hourly. When we called to clarify, the staff member who answered the phone was rude and repeatedly insisted that "prices hadn’t changed," even though the amount charged was far higher than anything we’ve ever paid. Their online pricing also does not clearly reflect the rate we were charged. After seven years of consistent and loyal patronage, this lack of transparency and poor customer service was incredibly disappointing. We will not be returning.

I had heard great things about this dog grooming company, but had never tried it before. It was time that my puppy got his haircut for Christmas, so we decided to give K9 a try. I called to set up an appointment and the lady on the phone was very helpful and nice. It came time for his appointment, I took him, came back, and was so surprised!! Knox my dog looked AMAZING!! The groomer told the lady to tell me he did great & to come back. We had tried 4-5 other groomers and they were not as good as these groomers! I definitely recommend and we can’t wait to come back!!

I had a very nice experience taking my boy here. The staff are all amazing! Dillion is who groomed Rylee, and I have no complaints whatsoever. He was very knowledgeable when it came to my dogs needs and what I wanted. I would definitely recommend! Thanks so much!

Best grooming team! I take my mini dachshund here for his baths, ear cleaning, anal gland expressions, and nail trimmings. He loves the staff. He gets spoiled with all the love and attention. Thank you for taking care of my little guy! Highly recommend.

Big thanks to , Pitt County K9 Academy Togo is now looking sharper than ever! When we adopted him I was initially worried about finding a groomer who could accommodate his special needs and strong personality, but they delivered and provided an amazing experience for my furry friend!

We had an emergency rescue situation that required immediate grooming attention of not just one but two doodles. We've used Dillon at K9 Academy for years with our dog Rizzo and and with this current situation our only hope that came to mind was him. We called first thing Monday morning after picking the rescues up on Sunday. I explained the situation to Ashley the receptionist and she couldn't have been more concerning and helpful to get the ball rolling. First we had to establish rabies vaccine, one was current one not..Remember this is a vacation week coming up so squeezing in is pretty impossible...Dillon called us back and said bring the vaccinated one in and if I have to I'll stay over....SERIOUSLY...that's our guy...total pet devotion!!!!! With one down and one to go...the next day he took the next and worse one in and amazing literally made this sweet dog saved by just feeling soooo much better. These two dogs have a great life ahead of them...but Even better...A GREAT FRIEND in Dillon who will always be in their life from now on.....We love you Dillon...you are our hero!!! We are so happy to have found Pitt County K9 Academy for grooming. The service of a Mobile Groomer is priceless and to have met Shian was amazing and a blessing. She took such great care with our new pup Grace. We can not thank her enough and can not wait to see her again. Thank you Shian!
