Bowie Barker Woodland Hills

After struggling to find a groomer in the Valley who really understands cute, well-balanced doodle cuts, we finally found Bowie Barker — and they nailed it. They followed our inspo photo perfectly and gave our pup the exact look we wanted: fluffy, polished, and adorable. Best of all, he came home happy. He’s usually nervous about grooming, but this time he seemed calm and comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly, and you can truly tell they love and care about the animals they work with. Highly recommend!

I had such a great experience at Bowie Barker Woodland Hills! I took my dog in last week and was really impressed from start to finish. The team was incredibly friendly, communicative, and made everything feel easy and stress-free. They finished the grooming in about two hours, which was super efficient, and the level of care really stood out. They took the time to let me know my dog might be dealing with a yeast issue, which I genuinely appreciated—it showed they’re paying attention beyond just the grooming. The place itself is very clean and well-maintained, which gave me a lot of confidence. My dog has anxiety, so I’m always a bit cautious, but he seemed calm and comfortable when I picked him up—which says everything. They even sent me photos of him during his bath, which was such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a caring, professional, and reliable grooming spot!

Everyone was super nice. The place was super clean and all of the equipment for the self serve dog wash worked great. Plenty of towels and product to use on my big lab Bogey! They even had jars of treats for the dogs including Bogey's favorite, Beef Liver treats! We'll be back...because he'll get stinky again.

This was my first visit, and I truly appreciated how respectful and attentive the team was when I explained exactly what I wanted. They listened carefully and never made me feel rushed or overbearing. The space was open, spotless, and calm, which made a noticeable difference for my dog. When he was finished, he looked exactly as requested — and most importantly, he came out calm and happy. I highly recommend this business to anyone seeking quality service in a comfortable, positive environment.

10/10, 5 stars, 2 paws up 🥰 I was nervous to try this grooming salon. I felt embarrassed with how bad my dog’s been looking. Our previous groomer closed their doors, then healthy spot near us closed doors, and I just couldn’t get in anywhere that I trusted! I tried the membership and for my first groom I asked for my poor Ludo to be shaved 🤣 I wanted a hard reset! They were sooo kind and patient explaining why it’s not a good idea. I felt so confident in their skill, I said do whatever you recommend- I’ll pay whatever to help my dog get comfortable again. They didn’t add on unnecessary extras but they did add on a proper haircut and de shedding (thankfully). I got the cutest progress photo and update texts! This is hands down our new spot!! I’ll update my review w the full photo of his ‘after’ when I get the chance! I just didn’t want to forget to leave this review in case someone else felt stuck finding a new groomer like I was 🙌🏼🐾

As this. was my first time at this dog grooming spa.I have to say I am extremely pleased. Greeted enthusiastically and professionally. My pups treated with lots of TLC. (very important) My groomer was great. And best of all my. dogs looked great. I'm happy that I found a new local groomer.

We went for our first visit, and I really liked the place. But more importantly, my dog came out really happy. And I can tell that she enjoyed her time there because she wasn’t crying to be with me and being really clingy for the rest of the day like she usually is when I went to my old groomer… So that tells me that they probably took pretty good care of her back there. They were very quick too, but my dog is only 3 pounds, lol. The staff was super friendly. The facility was very clean. It’s next to a bunch of shops so it’s easy to drop your dog off and wait. I’d say the cost is relative. It is more like a basic service and then you can add on extras that you need which is nice cause sometimes you don’t always need everything done. So I think it’s a great place. I’m excited to go next month again. The only negatives I can think of: parking can be hard to find, It’s in a Lot that is very busy. It can be expensive if you add on a lot of extras. Also, if you have a longer hair dog, it’s good to say if you Want the hair thinned or just cut.
