Look no further than Janis at Tender Pet and Home Care. We were leaving town for a few days and needed a pet sitter. She was able to fit us in last minute and was extremely attentive to our zoo of a household’s needs during her initial visit. Jan wrote down every single detail for every animal’s routine. We have 4 dogs and 2 cats… She asked questions that included our animal’s medical history and current medical needs/medication. She texted pictures and sent updates every day and every visit. We were late getting back and Jan was able to squeeze in an extra visit for us to continue our animal routine. When we got back home it was obvious our animals were cared for and our home was respected. Jan will be our first call next time we go out of town!

We had previous issues when leaving our 2 cats for a week and it left me really weary to leave them again. However, Jan was incredible. She came to our house twice a day to feed our inside cats and all (12) outside feral kittens which we are feeding for our elderly neighbors. She texted photos but most importantly, when we returned our cats we healthy and happy - not upset with their treatment while we were gone. I recommend Jan to anyone needing a pet sitter. She is awesome!

We had never used a professional pet service before and were somewhat anxious about it, but we were very pleased with Janis who came to our home, interviewed us and let us interview her. I so appreciated how she asked questions and took notes about the routines of our cats. She was very gentle with them and let them come to her on their own terms. She even sent us texts and photos on a regular basis while we were on vacation. We recommend her highly and will use her services again in the future!

Jan is by far the best pet sitter I have found in Alamogordo. I have had her watch my two cats a couple times now and she always does a fantastic job. She sends multiple updates and pictures which keeps me worry free about the quality of my cats care when I am traveling. When I get home my cats are always happy and I can tell they were well cared for. Her prices are incredibly reasonable and I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter in the Alamogordo area. 5 stars.

Jan has been taking care of our doggy and kitty for several years. When we have extended trips or long weekends, we never hesitate to get her involved with our pets. She takes care of them, makes several daily trips, and even texts to let us know how they’re doing. She loves them and they love her right back! We highly recommend Jan for her dedicated service and tender loving care!

Our family hired Jane to feed and to open/close the pet door twice a day for 4 days. Jane made sure to text me twice a day every day and give me updates on how all my fur babies were doing, if all 3 cats ate their food and Jane was very good about leaving my cat Aces food outside where he could find it because he was too sketchy about coming home and going inside the house for the night on the first day she cared for the cats. And she made sure to keep me informed if he did or didn’t go inside at night. She sent pictures to help ease my mind and heart that they where safe and well taken care of. Jane’s prices are very reasonable and she is very reliable. I absolutely will be calling Jane to watch my Cats on our next vacation/out of town trips etc… our family is and was very satisfied with Jane’s services 100% !!! I gave her a 5 star review!

Janis at Tender Pet Care is outstanding. She's responsible, reliable, and her prices are unbeatable in value. I use her overnight service consistently for my two American Bulldogs and they love her. Thanks to Tender Pet Care I don't have to kennel my dogs and have no concern about their comfort while I'm away. I could not give a higher recommendation for someone looking for reliable and exceptional pet care.
