Dog Day Afternoon

Greg was not just our dog walker for the better part of 20 years, he was like a part of our family. His love of dogs and his ability to run a business is just tablestakes. The real magic is who Greg is: kind, caring, invested, personable, wise, empathetic... So, sure, if you are looking for a reliable dog walker who knows what it means to show up on time and treat your pet with love and care, Greg's your guy. What we found in Greg was so much more. We were quite lucky to have had Greg as a presence in our lives for so many years.

Both my golden and pug get groomed her. My golden always is show-dog material after leaving. All the ladies here are great and will forever be bring my fur-babies here!

I could not be more thankful for Greg at Dog Day Afternoon. My dog has been with him for the past 5 months every day, and Greg is incredible with him. He picks my dog up every day from my apartment and brings him with other dogs in his van to the dog park to let them run around together, playing and exploring, for a half hour. My dog is small compared to the other dogs and was scared of the dog park at first when I took him myself, and now he does great at the park and loves to explore. My dog also loves Greg and is so excited when he comes, and sleeps like a rock after he comes home from playing with the dogs. Greg has also helped me with separation anxiety guidance for my dog while I went back to work, and he offered so much great advice and options for me for ways he could help accommodate him. He is someone who truly cares about the dogs he works with and is just as kind to their owners. Dog Day Afternoon has been the best company I've worked with since moving to Chicago. Greg is professional, communicative, kind, and a true dog-whisperer. I can see why he has worked with the same dogs for so many years. I would recommend his service to anyone, and hope to work with him for years in the future.

I am so grateful to have found Dog Day Afternoon. My previous dog walker would stop by for a quick walk around the block, sending someone new each day, and I never felt they were really walking her as long as I signed up for. With DDA, everyday Greg takes the group to the dog park for a good 30-45 minutes. It's perfect for someone with an energetic dog who needs to let her energy out. My dog is also better behaved since she started going DDA - Greg is a dog whisperer and she now comes as soon as I call her. I love this service and recommend it to anyone looking to get the best bang for your buck and deal for your pup!

Greg has been walking our dog, Annie for almost five years. She loves going on her walks with Greg and the other pups. I have watched Greg with the dogs and he is interactive as well as observant and loving. I trust Greg with our dog-child and with the keys to our home.

Greg and Chris were absolutely wonderful. They took excellent care of our 2 Bernese Mountain dogs for 4.5 years and would recommend them to anyone.
