Wags West

If you need a dog walker on the Upper West Side, you absolutely must go with Wags West. Michael and Marixa are extremely caring and kind people and treat each dog they walk as their own. I loved their small group walk approach. They are unlike the other dog walkers in the city that walk 10 dogs at once. Their walks are small and intimate ensuring safety as their number one priority. My dog Beau had been participating in small group walks for about 3 years before we sadly moved out of NYC. We will miss the Wags West team!

Wags West has done a terrific job taking care of our puppy, Phoebe, for the past 10 months. They are very responsive, flexible with scheduling, and extremely reliable in providing care. Would recommend!

Excellent dog walking and at a reasonable price! We looked at many companies before selecting Wags west as our walkers when we moved to the neighborhood and have been using them for 2 years now. Marixa is very responsive by email and the owner portal/post walk emails are informative and easy to use. All of our walkers have been timely, responsible and loving to our dog - he looks forward to his walk every day! We typically have the same walker every day which I also liked so our dog could get used to them.

Wags West have been so great for us and our dog Moose! Our dog Moose receives 1-3 30 minute group walks per week and has been walked by Wags West for over a year now, with nothing but positive experiences. Reasons we like Wags West: 1. Scheduling is easy and efficient through their client website. Marixa, Michael, and team are very communicative, responsive, and accommodating if we need to make changes, which is a huge help when our schedules are busy. 2. We get a nice email from Moose's walker after every walk that lets us know how the walk went and that our dog has what he needs when returned to our apartment. 3. Max 3 dogs per group walk with walkers that are all trained dog-lovers They do a great job and we're very grateful to have their trusted care for our dog when we need to be away from our apartment.

We could not have asked for a better dog walking group. Our dog, Vega, was having a lot of difficulties adjusting to life in the City when we moved from Seattle. The group was very patient with him as he settled in. They are very detail-oriented and super knowledgeable about how to care for dogs. Our anxieties were high when thinking about leaving our dog to be with a dog walker when we went to work, but they made things so easy. Because of how good of a job they did, we were able to transition our dog well to boarding and going on walks with other groups of dogs as well. The group at Wags West were truly lifesavers and we owe them everything! We are sad to be moving away and wish we could transport them to our new neighborhood. We would recommend them any day and twice on Sunday to anyone looking for a reliable and knowledgeable dog walking service! Our dog, Vega, would agree!
