Doggy Lama Pet Care

We absolutely love Molly and the whole Doggy Lama team! From the very beginning, Molly has been so communicative, kind, and flexible and she always sends the best photo updates that brighten our day. When Wilma first started going to Molly, she was a shy and timid pup who wasn’t comfortable being off leash. Over time, with Molly’s patience and care (and the help of Fabrizzio and the other amazing walkers), Wilma has grown so much in confidence. She now happily runs with the pack (with a long lead) and adores her boarding stays with Molly. I think she’s sad when she leaves! We’re so grateful for Doggy Lama and the great care and service they provide. It truly feels like Wilma is part of a second family. We can’t recommend Doggy Lama enough!

The team at Doggy Lama did an excellent job with our complicated pup, Ari. Ari has a history of chronic health issues along with reactivity and the Doggy Lama team was really flexible about helping us meet Ari where she was it. We loved working with Vanessa and Tom for her walks. The photo updates and written reports we so reassuring to help us monitor how Ari was feeling and doing out in the world.

Doggy Llama has been my go to doggy day care for the last few vacations. When we started with Doggy Llama Butch was able to enjoy long walks with his doggy friends. But now that he's older he just hangs out with the people. Doggy Llama has been great at modifying their care of Butch as he has aged. They make sure to feed him his special diet and his meds. They have done a great job of taking care of my old boy.

We've been so lucky to have Molly in our dog's life for several years now and she is the best. I feel so fortunate to have found Doggy Lama Pet Care when our other dog sitters had to move away. I wanted a long term replacement for our pup and that's what Molly and her crew have been. She always communicates in a timely way and sends us the best pictures of our dog. When we go on a vacation I feel like our dog is getting a special vacation too. Lots of love, walks and cuddles which is what you want for your pup when you go away.

Our dog Remco had a great time in his walks with Daryl when we were in Japan for a week and a half and Remco was staying with his grandparents. Daryl sent us photos and updates every day which we looked forward to every day. Daryl even worked on Remco’s heel/no-pull walking so when we came back home, he walked more nicely! This was our first time relying on a walking service for Remco, so we were worried at first about leaving him and looked at several options, but it was clear from our interactions that Molly and her team at Doggy Lama care deeply about the pets they take care of. The intake form was very detailed, and even though we asked for their services quiet last minute before our trip, Molly was able to set us up with a trial walk so Remco was set up for success during our trip. We’ll definitely be asking for their services again when we’re out of town!

EDIT: We are coming up on our five year anniversary being with Doggy Lama! Wow time has flown. We do have two new walkers that tag team, Joe (who is our primary walker) and Vero (who provides backup), but all the previous statements in my review are still valid. Joe and Vero are always communicative, respectful, and Warren can't wait to go on adventures with him and his pack. You can tell how much they each love and appreciate their dogs. ---- Our boy Warren, a border collie mix, LOVES his time with Kristen & Michael's packs. They're some of the most exceptional and trustworthy dog walkers we've had. Warren will wait up by the window for Kristen or Michael to come every morning - tail waggin a million miles an hour and whimpering from excitement. It makes me happy to see Warren get to play out on the trails, learn new skills, and socialize with his pals every day. Finding a trustworthy and professional dog walker is not easy. But Molly runs a tight ship, and the team she leads at Doggy Lama shows just how much she cares for and loves animals. Dorothy at Doggy Lama has been walking Gracie for several years. Gracie sits every morning, eagerly awaiting the best part of her day. When she hears Dorothy’s car, her tail goes crazy.
