We’ve been using Downtown Pittsburgh Dogs for almost five years and couldn’t be happier. Our cats, Chauncey and Caesar, absolutely adore them. The informative messages and photos we receive while traveling really reduce our stress, the sitters know us and our cats from past visits, and their app is incredibly easy to use. Highly recommend!

We have used Downtown Pittsburgh Dogs for a few years, and they have always been excellent. We have three cats, and originally hired DPD just so we could have someone give the cats some food and clean their litter when we go away (for long weekends or extended vacations). But they go above and beyond the basic service. Every time they come, we get a handful of cute pictures of our happy cats being played with and loved on, and we always come back to happy healthy pets. DPD is great at what they do, and I would recommend them for any cat family.

Loki and I love working with them - their app is easy to use, one stop shop for anything we need to from them. I love receiving a sweet note from each DPD team member and cute pictures of Loki having a walk after each visit. Special thanks to Kevin, the owner of DPD, for his professionalism and love for pets. We have used DPD for over a year now, and they have been game changing for my family! We often use their overnight stay service when we are out of town, but on occasion also use the walk option. They are professional, courteous, and responsive. Prices are fair and their quality of care always gives us peace of mind. The staff is communicative and flexible to help best accommodate our requests or change of plans. We are never left to wonder if our furry family (one dog + one cat) members are in good hands! We have gone through many pet sitters from Rover, Wag, and other local pet sitting services, but none of them compare to DPD. Their recent update to the Time To Pet platform has made requesting/managing services, payment, and communication incredibly easy. I’ve recommended them to lots of friends in the area, and would highly recommend them others!

I have used Downtown Pgh Dogs for over two years now while away on work and vacation. First and foremost, Toast absolutely loves DPD. She is a shy and oftentimes cranky cat, but she opened up to the cat- sitters who took great care of her and provided her with lots of attention. I received pictures of Toast and an update every day I was gone which I always looked forward to because Toast was often drooling slightly in them which is a sign of happiness for her. The sitters were trustworthy, and the company portal is easy to use. I definitely think it's worth the price and will be using DPD in the future!

I've been a DPD client since 2022. I have nothing but glowing things to say about Kevin, the company, and all of great team members who have cared for my two cats, Mia and Echo, over the years. It means so much to me, to know that my kitties will be safe, fed, and given cuddles and play time when my fiancee and I go out of town. After every visit I get a service report - with photos and a nice note - via the app. The service costs more than having a friend or neighbor kid stop by, but the peace of mind is worth every penny - and then some. I know that my kitties are in the hands of kind, caring, and dedicated people who love animals as much as I do. Because there is a team, too, I know that if the person who's assigned to care for my cats has an emergency of some kind, there are other team members who will make sure my cats are taken care of.
