Dogs Dig It

I have an Australian Labradoodle, and finding a groomer who really knows doodle coats is harder than it sounds. Emily at Dogs Dig It has been a great find. Emily is attentive, genuinely good with my dog, and always delivers a great haircut in a reasonable amount of time. I’ve sent so many people to Emily at this point, including close friends, and everyone has come back just as happy. It’s a little on the pricier side, but in line with what other groomers in the area charge and the quality is there. If you have a doodle, don’t go anywhere else

Dogs Dig It is basically my dog’s version of Disneyland. 😂 He doesn’t go to daycare super often, but the second we pull up, he acts like he’s late for the best party of his life. He can hardly get inside fast enough to greet all of his dog friends and start playing. The staff is wonderful, and it’s so clear the dogs are having an absolute blast there. Honestly, I wish there was a human viewing section because I would totally stay and watch the happiness unfold all day.

I have been recommending Dogs Dig It to everyone I know, so I figured I should just share with the whole internet. My dog has several places he considers heaven: his dog bed, Normandale Park, 1,000 Acres, and Dogs Dig It. He is a social guy, so spending the day at home on the couch would leave him super restless and bored. He loves spending the day playing with the other doggies and running around the yard. And I love being able to check in on him throughout the day on the web cams! I'm watching him at this moment as I write this review running around wagging a happy tail. Added bonus, on days when I just don't have time to take him for a run or to the park, he comes home from daycare nice and sleepy. The staff are friendly, efficient, and just awesome. You can tell they love my dog and they're happy to see him when we come in. I think the most telling thing is that we boarded the pup over a long weekend and when we took him back a few days later for daycare, he ran right in and was excited to be back. Dogs Dig It offers a fantastic service, is incredibly convenient and my dog likes being there. I have recommended it to all of my friends with dogs!

I scheduled a Meet and Greet for my dog to attend Doggy Daycare. When I dropped her at Dogs Dig It for her scheduled 30-min appointment, a staff member took her back alone—they don’t allow you to accompany your dog or see the area where the dogs play. Just 5 minutes after leaving her (seriously, 5 mins: I left her at 12:01 and they called me at 12:06) I received a phone call that they had already determined her to be a bad fit. When I asked why, they told me she was pacing, nervous, and was looking for ways to escape. The staffer confirmed to me she had met with other dogs without issue—so that portion was fine and there were no problems with aggressiveness. I’m kind of stunned by the bad experience. Why not give her more than a few minutes to become comfortable in the new space? Why not let her stay for the full 30 min scheduled appointment, and then determine her fit? My dog has gone to Doggy Daycare at other places without problems. She loves playing with other dogs. As another Google reviewer stated after having a similar experience with this business, there is an air of exclusivity. I’m guessing they have enough customers so they can outright reject a dog who is scared. My suggestion: try another dog care business before this one.

Wonderful grooming experience with Jessica, she gave my little Havanese a great cut! Parking wasn’t a problem, there seemed to be plenty of spots on the street close by. We’ll be back to have a full groom with Jessica in a couple months as well as dropping by for mail trims in the interim. Very reasonable prices!

A veritable paradise for pups! The staff take such thoughtful care of the dogs, and there’s a constant environment of joy and wellbeing surrounding the entire space. What lucky pups who get to spend their days at Dogs Dig It!

Dogs Dig It is my dog’s favorite place to go! She always is so excited when she arrives and is exhausted when it’s time to come home. She plays when she wants to, has great spots to sun bathe, and she has the ability to go inside and go take a nap in a crate if she needs some alone time. They have misters and water play to keep the dogs cool on a hot day and they have heaters and dogs coats for the dogs to borrow if they don’t have their own when it’s cold outside. The staff remember my dog’s name when she arrives and are always happy to see her. I always recommend them to anyone looking for a daycare!
