Shannon at Wildwood Pet Care is one of the most professional and caring pet service providers you could ask for. She takes exceptional care of my dogs and is truly the highlight of Shiloh and Peart’s day. Not only does she walk and play with them, but she also takes the extra time to wipe their adorable faces, ensure there are no accidents in the house, and even bring packages in from the porch—despite that not being part of her responsibilities. I couldn’t be happier with the level of care and attention she provides. More importantly, I can’t imagine trusting anyone else with something I love as much as my dogs.

We found Shannon online, and we couldn’t be happier that we did. She’s been absolutely fantastic, always punctual, reliable, and incredibly knowledgeable about pet care in the Point Loma area. We were in a bit of a bind when our puppy started her first heat, and Shannon from Wildwood Petcare came to the rescue! We posted in a Facebook group asking for help, and Shannon stepped right in. Our puppy was incredibly well taken care of. She even had an accident on herself, and Shannon went above and beyond by cleaning her up for us. Throughout the day, Shannon sent us several updates, which gave us peace of mind knowing our girl was in good hands. She even went as far as noticing that our girls first birthday was coming up and took pictures for us! We are so grateful for her help and couldn’t recommend her and her business more! Shannon at Wildwood Petcare is the best that anyone could ever get for loving care of pets, our larger dogs, who we love like our children. She loves your pets as much as you do. Gives them love, attention, has extensive animal care experience for their physical, etc. needs, and especially any issues that need careful attention, or that emerge. Shannon has great caring advice when there are questions. Our dogs are getting older, and Shannon is able to help & guide us as issues, like shoulder pains, etc. emerge. Our dogs are excited to spend time with Shannon. Our personal needs are met too as Shannon sends pictures to keep us up to date to proactively remove any concerns we may have. We are in our 80’s, have had many pets & pet care givers over the decades. Shannon is the absolutely the best we have ever had. She does love our pets as much, or more, than we do, & we really love our pets like we love our 6 children.

Having two dogs with very different personalities has made finding the right dog walker and sitter a challenge, but Shannon has been a game-changer. One of my dogs is overly energetic, and Shannon knows exactly how to handle that while ensuring my other dog, who’s more laid-back, gets the calm attention he needs. She really takes the time to understand each dog’s personality and adjusts her care accordingly. Shannon is responsive, professional, and, most importantly, someone I can fully trust with both walking and sitting my pups.
