Paw Prints Around Town

We have been using Paw Prints Around Town for years to care for our two cats whenever we go on vacation. We have two older cats who have lots of needs, medications, and quirks. Lindsey and Elan always provide excellent care for our furry babies and they send photos after each visit. I highly recommend them!

I've used Paw Prints around Town about half a dozen times to take care of my cats and house while I am away. They are great! I look forward each morning when traveling to seeing the photos of my cats, seeing them getting attention, and reassuring myself everything's ok. The website to schedule pet sitting is fairly easy to use, and they are very responsive when I send comments and questions. They are very professional but also seem like they are devoted to the kitties and pups.

Lindsey was a tremendous help for our dog Ivy and her nutritional issues. She is only 8lbs and was a very picky eater who also had some GI issues. Lindsey devised a new feeding plan for Ivy and the results are amazing. Lindsey helped guide us through the transition and was always available for any questions. Ivy has done a complete turn around She now enjoys her food and is hungry! Her GI issues are also resolved. I can't thank Lindsey enough for her help and continued support. I highly recommend her services if your dog is having any nutritional issues.

After moving to Silver Spring, I was intent on finding a great, professional dog walker (and preferred one with easy online tools for requesting extra services, paying each month and cancelling when needed). I also have three dogs, so I needed someone who could handle my entire crew. I was very happy to find Paw Prints Around Town and have been using them for about a year. Lindsey is great with my dogs. She sends a daily report via email to let us know the daily scoop. She’s very patient with my older dog, who would rather stay sleeping than go for a long stroll (especially in the winter). We even hired her to do training with one of the dogs, who was a rescue, and needed some help learning loose-leash walking and basic commands. I can see how she genuinely loves my pooches, and I’m glad to know they have someone lovingly caring for them while I’m at work.

Lindsey has been an incredible trainer for my puppy Luna. She is patient, kind, and SO organized! Each session has been thoroughly planned out, with an informative worksheet to take home and continue practicing what was learned that day. Lindsey has truly gone above and beyond, giving me tips and advice on specific issues outside the realm of "normal training" such as counter surfing and separation anxiety. She checks in outside of sessions to see how Luna is doing, and cares deeply about her. Lindsey trains through love and consistency and treats! There is no negativity or punishment and I really love that. She also takes the time to explain why something works or doesn’t, which helps me become a better dog owner. I would wholeheartedly recommend Lindsey and Paw Prints to anyone needing a trainer.

I owned and operated a sitting and walking company for 10 years and I am an animal behaviorist. My standards for animal care are HIGH. Paw Prints is very well organized—even when I am not! With many cat sitters you run the risk of them just putting down the food, scooping the litter, and leaving. Charlie spent the full half hour of the visits coaxing my shy 18 year old cat out of his shell. These are the sitters you want.
