Lead The Way

This was our first time using Lead the Way pet sitting services. Diane was great.. reliable, understanding and connected well with our fur baby. I was hesitant about leaving our dog and home for a 2 week vacation but Diane helped to reassure all would be fine. She sent texts and pictures to ease my mind. I’ll definitely use her services again in the future!

We have been using Diane for many years now to take care of our cat, Charlotte and fish. She always does a great job but this time she went way above and beyond what we would expect. We were in Ireland for two weeks and inaccessible by phone but Diane kept us posted daily on concerns she had about Charlotte’s not eating as well as throwing up. She continued to monitor her and even had her parents ( who live next door) come and check up on her. Diane offered to take her to the vet if needed. After several days, Charlotte corrected and was ok. Diane gave us peace of mind and we knew Charlotte was in good hands with her. We would highly recommend using her as she truly cares about the pets she is sitting.

After searching for a reputable pet sitter for once daily drop-in visits I found this business. I have a dog, chickens and sheep. The sheep are nursing lambs so it's critical for proper feeding to ensure milk for 6 week old lambs. I used the company for 4 days, received texts daily ensuring everything went great. I even received a few pictures of the sheep which made me feel confident they were in good hands. Upon returning home from trip I noticed the hay barrel was still full and no hay had been fed to nursing sheep other than a couple of flecks I left in another area. I even provided sitter with a word document with list of feeding and watering instructions, spoke over a phone call twice explaining instructions. The sitter did well with dog and chickens but failed to follow instructions and sheep did not get hay for multiple days which is very disappointing.

Diane did great with our 2 bigger dogs. they were in a setting that was just as like being at home. She loved on them as if they were her own, gave them home made treats, sent pictures and updates so we knew they were doing well. She was flexible when our flight plans changed. We'll be using her again when there is a need.

Diane went above and beyond while we were away. It was obvious from their happy attitudes that our dogs were very well cared for! Lead the Way offers great pricing and excellent service—we will definitely be using them again!

I'm very pleased with Diane's service. My dogs are happy when I come home so that makes me happy. She makes homemade treats for them that work with their sensitive stomachs. My Merry especially loves her! I can tell she loves my dogs back. Very warm and caring. Good communicator, good problem solver. I had a keychain made with my pets names to make it easier for her to find my key among her other keys. I plan to travel more and ask Diane to help me out again!

Diane did a wonderful job taking care of our sweet Lola. She kept us updated with photos and texts while we were away. Highly recommend!
