Lara at Two Tails is fantastic and super responsible and caring for all animals. She cat sit for our Rex for 10 years and always sent us pictures during the visit and followed our instructions to a tee. Two Tails dog walking is the greatest, I cannot recommend enough! I moved to DC about a year ago and finding Lara’s services and having her as part of my community has made my experience living in Capitol Hill so much better. From day one, it’s been clear that she treats my dog, Frannie, like her own. She is reliable, caring, trustworthy, communicative, and handles my always changing schedule with ease. Lara is the absolute best! We recently relocated to Capitol Hill and needed a pet sitter to help care for our two kitty fur babies, Jack and Paulie over the Thanksgiving holiday. We are so thankful to have found Lara and came home to two very happy, healthy, and stress-free kitties after a week away. I can't recommend her services enough - she was super communicative/responsive, and I could tell from our very first 'meet and greet' that she is a truly animal lover who understands that pets are a part of the family. Dependability, safety and love. Two Tails excels at all three. I never had to worry that my dog was left alone without notice. Schedule changes and emergencies were always reliably conveyed to us. Two tails always kept my dog safe out on the walks, and they were very good at keeping my dog from getting rough with other dogs and people. Lastly, there is a love for the dogs that runs deep. My dog had a pack that she loved as much as us.

Lara is excellent. She's known by everyone in the neighborhood and a friend to all animals! She is extremely knowledgeable and takes great care of her clients' pets. I have a cat who can be kind of difficult and doesn't like to be left alone for long periods of time. Lara has been a great caretaker when I'm gone: She plays with him, gives him treats and sends pictures of the pets she gives him. When I get back, he's not irritable (he does give me some attitude of course). And he always trots out to say hi to Lara when we're outside. Thanks Lara!

My fur babies love Lara! When I started a new job, I needed someone to walk my 70 lb pup daily and daycare was out of the question price wise. Lara met my pup and immediately made a connection. Leeloo is always excited to see Lara and loves walking with her pack. Lara also drops in on my cat when I’m out of town and her updates are always so heartfelt and I know my animals are safe.

It was love at first belly rub for my dog Charity. Lara has been a wonderful dog walker and friend to me for the past year or so and I cannot recommend her enough. She loves all of her animals that she cares for and really gets to know each and every quirk for each pet (and their owners). I would call on Lara again and again.
