Rainbow Pet Salon (Blue)

Rainbow Pet Salon is the best groomers in Lexington,Ky. They are absolutely knowledgeable in so many things about pets. They have taken care of my Kitty-Kat since she has been about 5 months old. Then I acquired a little Yorkie that is soooo soooo hyper. I was afraid after first visit they would say do t bring her back!! lol. I went to pick her up and she was as calm and content as could be. I made the mistake of using Feeders Supply one time because I had yet mastered the Rainbows app to schedule my own appointments. That was the worst mistake i ever made. They cut every bit of my Yorkie hair off!! All the way down to skin almost. Her hair was completely ashen where their coats are so dark underneath. Come to find out Feeders Supplies groomers are not licensed or trained at all. They are hired straight off the street NO EXPERIENCE AT ALL!! I had to wait 9 or 10 months for her hair to start coming back in. To this day it’s not back to normal but is getting better!! Rainbow Pet Salon employees are all so kind and they are always willing to help an ol’lady and her furbabys. Never go anywhere else!! BTW they do not try and break the bank with their fees for service. They are very reasonable. P. S. Picture one is after visit to Feeders Supply. Our Mini mountain Ausi-doodle was soooo matted. We had been camping every weekend for two months and he was a ragged mess. Allison did an amazing job shaving him down but still keeping him a cute dog. I am sure he was a handful but she was kind and graciously said he wasn't a problem😂

We have a Yorkie that is extremely nervous about getting a haircut. We are from NC and haven't found a groomer that can finish a cut because he freaks out. I called Rainbow and explained his situation. They squeezed me in the next day because they knew we were traveling. Allison did an EXCELLENT job with Stashu ! She was so kind to him. I stayed in the lobby while he was cut. I could hear her talking softly to him calming him down. She was even able to use the electric razor. He usually freaks out when he hears them. I want to make a huge shout out to Allison.....thank you so very much.... She did a great job 👏

Okay, new puppy's first haircut and left alone. We knew he'd be nervous and hard to keep still. Jean was so patient, kind and persistent with our pup. Paws and underside are so well groomed and trimmed. This was a great socialization exercise today more than just a grooming! Will follow up again in a couple weeks. Thank you again Rainbow. Oh, BTW, there is a "boutique" dog stuff store next door, Men's hair cut on the other side, a retro record shop and an awesome burger down the strip.... so you can stay busy 😉

It was like walking into a yoga studio for cats! Wow. Or should I say Meeeeow! I brought Annabelle by this morning, my chubby little Siamese cat for a cleanup, a shampoo and to get her nails done. The technicians took to her and treated her with so much respect. My cat had a good time and she looked great when she was done. The experts that work here are incredible and they really do care about the cats and dogs to come through here. I would definitely Recommend this place to everyone.

They do such a fantastic job and I feel really good about leaving my cat in their hands. Not only are they very thorough with me about the whole grooming process, but they are so knowledgeable and give me great advice for maintaining at home. What I love is that they devote one day every week just for cat grooming, so I know Calvin will be in a stress free environment. They are so caring towards him and he always looks and feels so good after. It isn’t easy to find a groomer you trust plus one that handles cats so well, I definitely recommend them!

Rainbow Pet Salon did a wonderful job making my girl look beautiful and smell so good! Parker is comfortable going there and for old grumpy dog, that says a lot.
