Wescott Acres Pet Resort

Absolutely love Wescott Acres! I take my dogs several times a week for their playgroup, it gives them a great opportunity to mix with other dogs in a supervised area and is vital to their socialization with other dogs. Just doing this alone has almost completely rid them of dog reactivity when we're out walking. In addition to this I use their dog trainer, Leon, to give my pups an advantage in social situations, Leon has been working with me on the usual dog training but also to ensuring I can take my dogs out to eat when my wife and I are traveling and know how to handle any situation I may face. I feel so much more confident in the care and handling of my dogs and they can sense this confidence which makes them more relaxed in any situation.

I will not have anyone groom my Goldens but Tayler. She does the most amazing job each grooming session and truly loves the dogs she cares for. Tayler is the best!

Having worked in a kennel myself for years, it was very important to me to find the right boarding facility for our two dogs, when we moved to the area. We visited numerous facilities before choosing Wescott Acres for the occasions when we needed to board our boys. Wescott not only has a friendly and helpful staff, but was also the cleanest kennel I’ve ever seen. There are many kennels closer to our house, but for us it’s worth driving further, to have the peace of mind, knowing our pups will be happy and safe whenever we need to be away.

Had a last minute need for boarding at Christmas and they were the only place I called that had accommodations. The location is very quiet, the staff very helpful, my 2 year old Mastiff got a private room and so much love and attention from the staff. I also go a report card, including pictures, grading her on her behavior and could see how quickly she embarrassed her mini vacation. The price was very reasonable and I will definitely return.

Finding a good groomer accepting new clients is like finding a needle in a haystack. Luckily, I found this place after my regular groomer shut down with no notice and the only groomer taking new dogs was in the country miles out of my way and WAY overpriced. This place is reasonable and my Bichons looked better than they had every looked! I am so thankful for the great service I received!

I highly recommend Leon’s training services for your fur baby. The atmosphere was very welcoming, and he took his time while showing genuine care, patience, and professionalism. I was especially impressed with the boarding services as well. They were absolutely amazing. I truly appreciate the level of attention and dedication he provides!

This is a great place to take your furr-baby. Although I'm not sure what they do all day while at daycare. I know my furr- baby and she's not going to play with anyone but a certain dog there. This is why I only let her go on days her friend is going to be there.
