The Barking Lot

First off- the barking lot took these stunning photos of my dogs. We framed them and I get to look at them everyday. We have been bringing my dogs to the barking lot for 4 years now. Through 3 moves, having a baby, adopting a puppy and having some really hard life challenges- the barking lot has been there for my family and my dogs. The barking lot truly has become family. So much so, that we moved an hour away and STILL continue to take our dogs here. We just can’t bring ourselves to take them anywhere else. My older dog is a rescue and has a ton of anxiety and I have absolutely no fear boarding him here. I know he is safe and I know he is loved. He absolutely loves coming to the barking lot and it shows. Deanna even trained Oakley a little when he first started going because of his anxiety and it took her one training session and he was completely comfortable going and so excited every time we pull into the parking lot. We have tried different places that are closer to us and nowhere compares. I know we will continue to count on the barking lot for the rest of my dogs lives.

Recently had our older senior dog boarded here. We had a few days of daycare first to make sure we're a good fit. The staff is so friendly and you can tell they love dogs and have great relationships with their regulars. Our dog came home a bit smelly but was so happy and tired. We were able to update our bordetella at this location as well. For overnights you can bring their beds and toys. They get 3 feeds a day. My little guy got a separate area with dogs his size which was great. Will definitely be back. Reasonably priced as well so I thought it was a great value.

MY FAMILY LOVES THIS PLACE! Our dog Mandy, was extremely skittish around other dogs, but after a month her confidence has improved tremendously. Bonus, she always come back tired and smelling good. The Barking Lot is truly a hidden gem!

I have taken my dog Yeti to the Barking Lot for grooming four times now, and unfortunately, the quality of his grooms have been decreasing with each time that we go. I always try to be specific on what I like (clean body trim, nails, deshed, bath/brush, etc) but recently the work hasn't been the greatest- today he came back with paw pads not shaved out, dewclaws not clipped, a less than optimal trim job, and he was still pretty wet when they returned him to me. The price is very fair ($75 for my large, hairy dog), so you get what you pay for, but I think I'm going to start shopping around for other groomers.

Our boy Nelson was groomed by Raun at the Barking Lot. He did a. PHENOMENAL job and his pricing was great. Nelson was a very happy boy! We definitely have a new groomer! Check them out!!

Best place to take your dog for grooming! We have a Westie and they make her so bright and beautiful after her cleanups, she needs maintenance at least every 6 weeks so we frequent the Barking Lot all the time, I highly recommend this business to anyone needing their service.

I am quite happy I found the Barking Lot! My pup is always excited to go in, and tuckered when she comes home 🙂 The staff is wonderful, and they often come out to my car when I drop off.
