Auburn Kennels

Mike and team have been wonderful with my dogs! Communication is excellent. Drop-off and pick-up are flexible and convenient to my schedule when I'm working in Auburn. I love the low dog-to-trainer ratio so they get one-on-one attention. My senior dog enjoys relaxing with her human friends there. My young dog (red sweater pictured) has been having fun meeting and playing with new friends! ❤️ They both enjoy going for walks around the property as well. Highly recommend! Update: they have both been boarded here as well and it went very smoothly! We got daily updates and they were given lots of love and attention!

Mike at Auburn Kennels came recommended to me by family and I am glad he did! My dog stayed a week and we got daily text updates and pictures which is great because it takes away a worry. I will definitely be booking in the future. Very friendly, great value for your money and knowing your dog is in greats hands.

I am so grateful to Auburn Kennel and Mike for taking such great care of our dog Barkley while we were away. Mike was awesome!! He sent daily text messages and photos of Barkley. Barkley had so much fun running and playing!! He even made some friends!! Barkley was very well taken care of at Auburn Kennel!! He had so much fun that I didn’t think he wanted to leave!! The kennel is so clean and Barkley was very well cared for!! This was the first time we sent Barkley to a kennel and I can tell you for certain this will be the only kennel Barkley will be going to!! Mike was great to work with. It was my first time boarding my Taika, but he made me feel as ease. He provided updates and sent photos, which was great! And when I was unable to pick Taika up on time due to a flight cancelation, he offered to keep him one more night. And checked in the next morning. Great experience for an anxious dog mom like me! 🩷 But more importantly, Taika had a great time!

Though we love to travel with our pup as much as we possibly can, Ellen and John have been absolute life savers over a chaotic few months. Between dropping off for the day last minute and several night stays, our dog lovessss going here! It gives us such peace of mind knowing he has other dogs to play with in a controlled and safe environment without it being over crowded. Ellen and John were very transparent from the beginning on how they keep the dogs safe but also make sure they have fun, and were always happy to answer any questions. I think the pictures explain it the best!!

Five Stars! Although Auburn Kennels is a new facility, John Michael has been providing services for my Goldendoodle Maddux since July of 2022. Maddux has stayed with John Michael more times than I can remember and is the only person I have ever used to board Maddux. Maddux currently attends daycare at Auburn Kennels, and he adores John Michael like a pawrent. Maddux is always very excited when I tell him we are going to see "Mike", and he is always exhausted when he comes home. I love how John Michael provides picture updates throughout the day of Maddux playing outside or hanging out with his doggy friends. I love the social interaction that is provided for Maddux, as well as private walks on a leash. He also adores John Michael’s dog "Plop" like a brother. Maddux is my first dog, so I take it very seriously who I let take care of him. "Mike" is like family to us, and I know that exceptional care will always be provided to any of the dogs he is watching. No need to look any further for your furry friend’s needs! Try a day of daycare and I promise you will not regret it!
