I had a great experience with Blackthorn Dog Boarding Facility. The staff genuinely care about the dogs and go above and beyond to make sure they are comfortable, safe, and well cared for. The facility is clean, organized, and provides plenty of space for dogs to play and exercise. I received updates while my dog was staying there, which gave me peace of mind knowing my pet was happy and in good hands. When I picked my dog up, they were relaxed, healthy, and clearly enjoyed their stay. Blackthorn Dog Boarding was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the dogs are treated like family. wouldn’t trust my dogs anywhere else. I’ve tried having someone come to my home for my three Aussiedoodles, but they truly love going to Blackthorn. They are always so well taken care of and come home happily exhausted every time. What I appreciate most is that they’re safe, get to spend time together, and are genuinely comfortable there. This especially means a lot because one of my dogs is a rescue who is typically very shy and scared, but the moment he walks through the gate at Blackthorn, he relaxes and feels at ease. That level of trust is everything to me. I know my dogs are in great hands, and I wouldn’t choose anyone else. They have helped me when I need boarding last minute and I appreciate them so much.

Highly recommend! We bring our boy here and we absolutely love them! The environment and the staff are amazing. They take great care of our pup like he's one of their own. He is always so happy when we pull up because he knows he gets to play with friends and the staff. 🙂

I have used Blackthorn for over 2 years now. We use them for daycare and also boarding while we’re out of town. They are very friendly and our dog Gus is super excited to jump right out of the car at drop off! I have referred many friends to them as well. Highly recommend.

Update: Austin and Jennifer are still the best! Our girls have stayed with them a couple times since our first review and every time they get so much playtime and love. Their pricing is fantastic as well! Austin and Jennifer are the real deal! We had our two girls stay with them over Christmas for 12 days and during that time we received frequent and timely updates with photos of our dogs having the time of their lives. Austin and Jennifer have a great set-up for outdoor playtime and even went above and beyond by taking on the responsibility of changing one of our dog's diapers and keeping her clean as she recovers from a booty-surgery. The best part was that each dog got a professional picture with Santa and a Christmas present to bring home - all free of charge. Overall, Austin and Jennifer are THE dog people to watch after your pets - we couldn't be happier and can't wait to use their services again.

Absolutely love this place! I will never take my dog to another boarding facility other than Blackthorn! Great communication and great rates! 10/10 would recommend any day of the week!!
