American Boarding Kennel

I was told by the staff my pup outgrew daycare and was not welcome to come back to daycare. Spicer, my 9-year-old shih _Tzu was bored with ABK daycare. He would shake on his way there. I believe he was in a cage most of his staying at the facility the place had a gross dirty smell. I was actually happy they kicked him out. He loves his new daycare Woof Dah, on the corner of Portland Avenue and highway13, 12250 Portland Avenue Burnsville, MN 55337. The staff, professionalism dog lovers. So, kind and respectful, the greatest people to deal with.

Our family has been using ABK for over 20 years. We have used them for training, doggie daycare, and boarding. All three of those services have exceeded our expectations . Our pups are so excited to go to daycare that sometimes we think they rather be there than home. It’s very hard to find a place to trust with our fur babies, and we have no issues leaving them there. They love our pups like their own!!

We’ve tried out many doggy daycares but ABK is our favorite! Our pup Louise absolutely loves coming here and always comes home ready for a nap. The staff is friendly and the facility is clean. You never get that usual doggy daycare smell when you walk in. Thanks!

I recently boarded my dog, Fanny, at ABK, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and clearly attentive to the needs of all the dogs in their care. They went above and beyond to ensure Fanny felt comfortable and well looked after during her stay. You can tell they genuinely care. I highly recommend ABK!!! We'll definitely be returning!

Not a lot of places will board my dog, but this place gave me great peace of mind. I came in for a meet and greet and my aggressive dog was welcomed by good staff which he did great with. I then came back to board him and they took great care of him. I can always complain about prices, but they are definitely cost competitive compared to regular boarding facilities

I boarded my two dogs at ABK for the first time and will definitely come back! Prices are reasonable and staff members were helpful and friendly from booking to picking up. My dogs were able to stay together in one room but isolated from other animals, which was ideal as they had been exposed to ringworm a few days before boarding. The staff kindly assured me that they would take safety precautions to not spread it to other animals (hand washing, not sharing leashes, etc.) and even offered to take my dogs to the vet for me. It was amazing peace of mind knowing ABK staff would keep my dogs safe and healthy. Thank you!

We brought our dog here for the first time and had a great experience. Their base price for dog boarding is super reasonable with add-ons if you'd like (dog daycare, playtime with staff, bathing, etc.) They were super friendly and easy to work with. At pick-up, they sent us with a progress report and assured us that he had lots of cuddle time with staff, which literally put me in tears! We will definitely bring our boy back here!
