Tucker Pup's Pet Resort

We did private lessons with Natalie, and it was wonderful! Our dog is 7 months old, leash reactive, and had a hard time adjusting to city life. Natalie gave us useful and approachable tools to help with this. She always came prepared with exercises and was very knowledgeable on pet behavior, answering all of our questions! We are thankful we did the private lessons—they helped get our pup off on the right foot and gave us the tools and knowledge to continue training her moving forward.

We’ve had a really great experience working with Phaedra through Tucker Pup’s Drop-Off Training program. We originally signed Cliff up for one round and have already started a second because of how much progress we’ve seen. Cliff came into the program as a typical high-energy puppy with a short attention span, especially in distracting environments. Since working with Phaedra, we’ve seen noticeable improvements in his focus, leash behavior, and overall ability to settle and make better decisions both at home and outside. What we’ve appreciated most is how thoughtful and practical her approach is. She does a great job balancing structured training with real-world application, and the weekly progress sessions have been extremely helpful for us as owners to understand how to reinforce everything at home. She’s also been very honest and communicative about Cliff’s progress, which we’ve really valued. It’s clear she cares about the dogs she’s working with and wants to set them up for long-term success, not just short-term results. Overall, we’ve been very happy with the program and working with Phaedra, it’s been a great investment for Cliff and for us.

MANNER CLASS: we attended Adult Manner class, and although we were initially unsure about its effectiveness, it turned out to be absolutely perfect. We learned so much, especially about how to reinforce correctly. Natalie was amazing, and we loved her so much that we’ve already booked private lessons with her. Through this experience, we also got to know Tucker Pup’s vision, culture, and environment which are exactly what we’ve been looking for for our fur baby, who is now happily enrolled in both daycare and boarding. BOARDING: I couldn’t be happier with Ivy’s boarding experience! The team was incredibly attentive to her and all of her needs, and they made sure to keep me updated every step of the way. Their constant care and communication gave me so much peace of mind. And the photos: they were truly the cherry on top! Highly recommend! DAYCARE: Ivy is at her happiest the moment she reaches the entrance. Her tail starts wagging, her whole body shakes, and you can just tell how much she loves being there (P.S.: after daycare, she just sleeps like a baby). Tucker’s Pup truly treats her like family: constant updates, incredible care, and so much love. We absolutely adore them.

Jamie was an absolute godsend for our pup Polly. Polly was an incredibly nervous dog and over the months working with Jamie she truly came out of her shell and is able to show her funny personality. Jamie was the best to work with since she really was able to break down training and relaxation protocols for Polly and for us to make sure that we never overwhelmed her. I would recommend working with Jamie any day! Polly is truly a different dog and I don't think that would have happened without Jamie's support.

Our dog, Westley (@mrwestleys), is obsessed with Tucker’s. We’ve tried other daycare/boarding places in the city since we moved from the West Loop, but we always find ourselves returning to Tucker’s because we love them that much! We adore the photos we get of our Westley having the best time (see pics attached!) with all his other buddies under the care of the Tucker Pup’s team. We know he’ll always be well taken care of and as dog parents that’s all we can hope for when we’re out of town! We highly recommend Tucker’s for your daycare/boarding needs!!

Jamie was a great trainer and my girl really loved her. She was helpful and throughout the class made sure each dog had individual attention. She addressed any concerns and offered tips readily and was extremely knowledgeable. I would love to have her as a trainer in any future classes at Tucker Pups. Throughout the class we learned the basics sit, stay, down, recall, walking on a leash, leave it, touch, paying attention to owner instead of distractions, and a few other things. I enjoyed how the dogs got to play and interact but also had personalized attention.

Cooper didn't want to leave! Which suits us because we know he was treated well and had fun. We particularly appreciate Tucker Pup's for their ability to accommodate an unevenly socialized Australian Sheepard! They have excellent employees because he always comes home minding his p's and q's LOL! We also appreciate how well they communicate with us about anything we can improve at home, or understanding him better. Tucker Pup's is our go-to for boarding, for us it's worth every penny!
